Nintendo Wii Console —
For those of you who waited to purchase the Nintendo Wii after Nintendo announced it's much awaited "price reduction" for the system, I'm SUPER proud of you.
Don't get me wrong, it was well worth its price at $249.99 before. Nintendo has really stepped up the pace with this system. Actually, that's an understatement since the Nintendo Gamecube was such a failure. Technology keeps advancing and our living proof is the mechanics of the Nintendo Wii! It uses motion sensing controls for most games out there (using ADXL330 Accelerometer and PixArt optical sensor)!
The games that are out for this system can be labeled as "universal" for all age groups and ranges (with some exceptions, of course).
In general, the more people you have playing at once, the more fun the games become! I cannot hold myself back from recommending this product. It's amazing and well worth the money :)
For those of you who think the games are expensive for this system...you might want to step back and look at the pricing for Xbox 360 games and PS3 games...they're very competetive ^_^
