Our entire family loves our new Wii. I wish the games were a little less expensive but I saved for the console, I can save for the games as well. We do rent them so that we know what we like. I wish I could afford to purchase Rock Bank sounds like great fun. Also, I hope to get Wii Fit soon. I really...

The nintendo wii, Sony and Microsoft laughed at nintendo, calling the wii "not even in the same leaugue" as their own consoles. But after the wii sales were revealed, Sony and Microsoft decided to stop laughing.

Leading by a HUGE margin in sales the nintendo wii has been a huge success...  but...

Great family time can be gained with the wii, we as a family of 8 are hardpressed for group activites. We have however found great time together with the Wii, we can all play, we all get involved, even if one can't play we all take turns but the movements and antics keep us all involved and together which is all you can really want out of something like this...fun, fun fun!

Our family received our Wii as a Christmas present and we use it everyday. The games are fun and interactive. My daughter is on the Wii Fit everyday competing with her grandmather. I would recommend a Wii to anyone.

I purchased a Nintendo Wii for my teenage son and it is the best game console he ever had. My husband and I love and enjoy playing games on it with our son. It has great games that are challenging and fun.

For those of you who waited to purchase the Nintendo Wii after Nintendo announced it's much awaited "price reduction" for the system, I'm SUPER proud of you.

Don't get me wrong, it was well worth its price at $249.99 before. Nintendo has really stepped up the pace with this system. Actually, that's an understatement since the Nintendo Gamecube was such a failure. Technology keeps advancing and our living proof is the mechanics of the Nintendo Wii! It uses motion sensing controls for most games out there (using ADXL330 Accelerometer and PixArt optical sensor)!

The games that are out for this system...

The wii game system is incredible.  I have a four and three year old girl and boy and they love to play games on this.  They can manipulate the controller since you can go through the actual motions ie. golfing to get the player to hit the ball.  They are not able to use other controllers with many buttons on them and control the player.  I also work at a nursing home and we own one there.  People enjoy all the games, like bowling, golf, people of all levels can play on this system.  You can sit or stand to play.  Playing the games you can take an active roll swinging the bat , club, or... read full review »

I recently purchased a wii game with wii fit. I am not usually big on video games but this one is great. I played this with one of the kids and loved it so much we purchased one. My fiance said he was not interested( he is normally a couch potato when not at work) The day after we got it I went to work early and my daughter woke to find him playing with the wii and having fun.

This game has made us more active. We have the sports as well as the wii fit and fit board. Another great addition to it is mario cart and mario party.

I began my relationship with the Wii a few days ago. I did not like the idea of a grown women playing with a childs game but played it to please the man who purchased it for me. As I played Tennis and Boxing I noticed that I was completly into the game and was getting a great workout. I woke up the next morning sore and anxious to beat my next competitiors.

The Nintendo Wii Console is a great gaming system.  You can actually do workouts with it to get into shape. It has also been used in Nursing Homes to keep the elderly alert and active and keep their brains functioning well. The price is good for what you get.

There are several other types of controlers for different games too like, tennis racket, bowling ball, fishing rod, steering wheel as well as some others. The controlers are easy to use and have wrist straps to keep you from throwing the controler out of your hand when you are into the game. Wii comes with 1 game, usually WiiSport,1controler, 1numchuck,...

On my 5th birthday, my mother and grandmother took me to the mall and purchased the classic Nintendo Entertainment System for me as a gift. I am now 20 years old, and I consider myself to be a videogame veteran. I love all the classics- Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Zelda, etc.

I grew up with Nintendo- first with the NES, then with the Super NES, the Gameboy/Gameboy Color, the N64, Gamevboy Advance, and Nintendo DS. I skipped the Gamecube in favor of the PS2 and Xbox, but when my old Xbox 360 died, I traded my games in and bought a Wii (I have an Xbox 360 elite now to replace the old 360, however)....

We purchased our Wii about 8 months ago and I have to say it was the best investment we've made in a long long time. Our kids love it and so do we. It is a great way to spend family time together. My kids no longer mope around saying, "I'm bored." They always have something to do on Wii and they love it. We live in the Seattle area and our winters are pretty dreary and wet, this is a great way to get my kids, my husband, and myself to stay active during the winter months. I also love the laughter that now fills my family room.

My niece was recently diagnosed with leukemia, with this illness a person's...

The Wii has been a great activity that the kids and I can enjoy together. There are lots of games available that both kids and adults both enjoy. It is also great for getting everyone moving during sports games. The bowling quickly became a hit at my house. This Christmas we are adding Rock Band to our collection. I would recommend this to anyone regardless of your video game ability. The Wii will also play your old Nintendo Game Cube games. My kids love to pick up the old games previously owned at such cheap prices. While the brand new games can be a bit expensive the system has now been around...

I would like to say as a Wii and Xbox 360 owner that while 360 has more hardcore games, the Wii has simple fun games. Mario Kart Wii is a blast online, and another great game is Super Smash Brother Brawl. While graphic are weak compared to the 360 and PS3, Wii is a refreshment to the hardcore world. Anyone that doesn't think the Wii is the worst, needs to think again. The problem is is that the Wii is not the same. Thankfully it is not, because Mario is not past his prime, even if he isn't the best selling series anymore. The Wii has excellent games, which is what it needs most.
