We purchased a 2008 Nissan Versa in May. Within the first 2 days we had a hubcap come off which Nissan replaced for free but it was a hassle as we live 60 miles from the dealership. This weekend we noticed that the rubber around the back window of one of the doors is all loose and we will need to take it in again. Other than that, we are very happy with the Versa. It gets great gas mileage and is roomy for a compact car.
I was torn between purchasing a Mini Cooper or a Scion XD or XB. I wanted something that would get the best gas mileage, but have a little more comfort than my previous Scion XA. The Scion XA was getting 38.5 mile per gallon faithfully. But you felt every bump in the road. I really liked the fit like a glove comfort of the Mini and figured they would get good gas mileage, but at the same time did not want to pay $20,000 for my next car. I had purchased a Nissan truck in 94 and an got 238,000 miles on it before trading it in for my current Nissan truck. I got a good deal on the truck so figured...

I recently had the horrible experience of car shopping. Nothing I hate more then shopping for a new car. I was determined to buy something small and fuel efficient. After test driving every car known to man, I purchased the Nissan Versa. My decision was based on interior size, fuel effiecincy, affordability, and reliability. My car has a CVT transmission which creates the smoothest ride I have ever experienced. I get about 29miles/gallon city and 34 highway. As far as space goes, there is no comparison.
