I received this treadmill last august for my birthday, I have enjoyed using it. It has a dis that you can insert that actually directs your workout and it has a heartrate monitor, and has an option to plug in an ipod to listen to music while you exercise, and has a speaker and a fan to keep you comfortable...

Most Helpful Critical Review

Our C2155 had 16 hours logged on the machine when the incline went dead. We used the machine for walking only and had it protected with a surge protector. We paid about $750 for this machine, or roughly $46.88 per hour of use before it failed. Absolute junk.

Very disappointed

I bought this product two months ago, and was quite happy with its performance. Yesterday, I went to use it and it simply stopped working. I've tried every trouble-shooting suggestion in the booklet and nothing worked. When I unplug it and plug it back in, the console light comes on for about 3 seconds and then the whole thing just goes dead. Nothing on their website helps. I tried their phone help line, but they are not open the hours advertised on the booklet. I may have to take a day off work without any promise that anything will come of it. Reliability is one thing that drives my opinion of... read full review »

Buyer Beware!

I don't know what went wrong. I shopped and compared and read reviews and this treadmill got some pretty nice reviews and seemed highly recommended. From day one my treadmill did not work. It would not work just using the speed and to get it to go at all with the ifit cards you had you push start it on the belt. When AND IF it did finally work, it had such a hesitation in it that I couldn't stand being on it. Ten minutes of use and that was all I could stand. As suggested I called Nordic Track and after a small argument about warranty they wanted to tell me it was the control panel. They send the... read full review »

Great Treadmill

Bought this treadmill at Sears last week. I really like it. The display is clear and I've had no problems reading it. The fan is great. Easy to use feature. The speakers are so so but nice to have. The heart rate monitor is very off. But for the price it's a great treadmill, very sturdy. Does not feel flimsy or cheap. Took about 90 min. to put together.

We like it!

My husband and I recently purchased this model treadmill from Sears this past week when it was on sale. We purchased it with the hope of starting to run more regularly. I walked a mile the first night and both my husband and I ran 3 miles the next day. Overall we are very happy with the purchase, great deal for the money and quality. As far as the process of putting it together...it wasn't awful. It took us about 1 and 1/2 hours. You truly need to follow the directions carefully and pay attention. It is a very heavy piece of equipment. We placed it in the garage and took it upstairs in pieces.... read full review »

After a few months of light use, console froze - no buttons would work.  Even though warranty supposedly covered parts and labor, I had to pay $50 for "shipping" and "house visit."  A few months later of light use and it froze again.  Company gave me choise of paying another $50, or paying $189 for an extended warranty.  Company took no responsbility for fact that this happened twice.  When I asked whether it was unusual for a NordicTrack treadmill to break down to unusuable condition twice within an eleven month period, I got hems and haws.  Reviews on Yelp and Amazon indicate other buyers...

Great Product, Great Price

After six months of reading reviews and investigating virtually every treadmill on the planet I finally decided on the NordicTrack C2155. I was sceptical about the assembly and some of the features working as described because of some reviews but to my pleasant surprise, I had no trouble with the assembly and everything works as described. Assembly was easier than I expected, it took me less than one hour to assemble and all features worked first time, including the pulse reader. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a full featured treadmill at a bargain price.

Perfect for Me

This is a very good treadmill for a person like me who doesn't run and who uses it 1 hr. per day. The incline feature is great and the ability to plug in a device to listen to over the built in speakers makes it very convenient. The treadmill is very heavy which made it difficult to bring into the house and the assembly definitely takes two people. It took approximately 1 hr. to assemble. So far it has been really good although it produces a little more noise than I was expecting. For the price ($699.99) I think it would be very hard if not impossible to beat unless you find a used treadmill.

Awesome!!

I love this treadmill. It is quiet, sturdy, excellent display, controls work flawlessly, easy to set up. I did a HALF HOUR THIS MORNING AND FEEL GREAT! Thank you Nordictrack and SEARS for making your products still as well as ever. I also love the track it has much traction and no slippage. I LOVE IT AND ONE OF MY BEST PURCHASES!!!!

Very pleased

The reviews on this site really helped us make our decision. We bought this treadmill this week. After a few weeks of research, we believe we got the best treadmill for the price. It's very sturdy and it runs quietly. It's such a great way to work out since we have two young kids. We run three miles each--so six miles a day. The sound quality from our I Pod is fantastic and the fan works well. The treadmill doesn't let you enter weight or age so there isn't a way to know how many calories you burn. The display light isn't the best quality--but that's not a big deal to us--sometimes I don't want... read full review »

Decent treadmill

I purchased this treadmill about a week back and have been using it for about 1.5hrs a day. So far, I have no bad things to say other than the heart rate monitor which others have already spoken about. I was going to buy the ifit cards but have found that the included workouts are sufficient. I am only walking at this point but building up to the running. After walking outdoors for a while, I have noticed that the padded deck on the treadmill is much better on my feet. One of the good things about getting the treadmill was that the Sears delivery guys out it together for me as part of the delivery... read full review »

Good for the money and beginner!

I fount the Nordic 2155 to be a good buy for the money and as a general starter treadmill. For starters, the fact comes down to you get what you pay for. It does only have a 12 year motor warranty but if you are a serious runner you are going to upgrade long before then. What is typical for most people is that they are going to buy a treadmill and use it for a few months then it is going to collect dust in the corner, that just the way a lot of people are. It is a good starting price, I would not buy anything in a lesser price range. When a person gets serious you will upgrade to one of the $3000... read full review »

Solid treadmill

So far a solid treadmill and easy to use. The belt has plenty of room for walking and running and the foot noise may be only slightly louder than the treadmills in the gym. The display is attractive but a little bit dim compared to some other brands. Even so, we are having no problems seeing the information displayed except maybe the fan setting. The motor seems to have plenty of power and not much louder than the gym treadmills. The transitions in speed settings are smooth if only slightly sudden. The incline is smooth in operation and is quite a challenge much past level 6. The speakers are not... read full review »
