I purchased this elliptical to replace a old tread mill. Assembly was easy for me due to my handyman talents. This machine works and preforms just like the one I use at my gym. It is a very stable with very little movment thru my workout. If you are looking for a good home elliptical this machine is great with a great price.
Our family purchased this bike a few weeks ago after a lot of research on the internet. We find it to be very quiet and sturdy. I know my husband likes the idea of having the iFit capability. He only wishes that he chose the one to fit his new iPad. The only downside is the seat. It is not as comfortable as I would have hoped. After about 20 minutes on the bike, my butt was sore and numb. Overall, I would recommend this bike to anyone...especially the price.
We have had this for almost a month. I picked it up, brought it home and put it together. My advice is to do the same, since other people slapping it toether for you is a waste of money. It is not that hard, just a little time consuming.
Anyway, fired it up and it had a .... squeak. Took me a few days to find it, but finally did. The belly pan had a crack. No big deal. The thing that was a bigger deal was this.....it would not shut off. I think it is stuck in the demo mode, but the problem is that it won't come out of demo. I can't even get it into the diagnostic mode to turn...

Although when I first got the X9i Incline trainer there was an issue with the console, Which was attended to immediately by some very concerned and confidant nordictrack reps, when the initial issue did get resolved,(though it did take a month because part was on backorder) the machine now works like a dream!
It is everything you could want out of a treadmill with the added additions of the wifi interface to make you want to keep going and going. You can read your mail and no problem with basic internet functions, However, if you want to watch your favorite TV show, you may not be able to do it...

Bought this treadmill to get back in shape and love it so far. Local sears had to order it and I got it a week later if you don't have this thing delivered make sure you get some help to bring it in this thing weighs a ton. I bought this one with the more powerful motor because I do alot of running. It also has the shock absorbers to help with your joints. One of the down falls with it was putting it together it took me about four hours and like most has cheap plastic and the fan is not very powerful. But overall it has been a great treadmill and I would recommend it.
So far the unit works just fine. One thing of note. The salesman at sears was very knowledgeable. He told me it is recommended that the belt get a special dressing once a year. You can only get it only through nordic trac and it runs about 80 bucks a bottle. Do not use silicone. This procedure is necessary to keep the machine running properly. Problems will occur if not done. I went ahead and took the warranty for 3 years at 189 bucks. this will also give me an annual visit from a tech that will dress the walking pad and oil and clean the motor and other parts.. Seems a small...
