Good Treadmill

Bought this treadmill three weeks ago, despite many of the negative reviews. The treadmill works great so far. The speakers are quite good. Not a state of the art sound system or anything but deliver pretty clear sound quality and are sufficiently loud. I find them pretty convenient and more comfortable...

DEFECTIVE!

When I first brought this home my wife and I were very excited to use it.  But the first time I tried it out it just accelerated out of control and none of the buttons worked. Called Nordic Track customer support and they couldn't figure out the problem so they shipped me a new console.  Took two weeks...

This was a very nice investment for my lifestyle. I live a quiet life and prefer to do exercise in privacy. I use this along side my weight bench and it's the best thing I could of asked for in affordable and effective home fitness. It runs great, and recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy and effective piece of home fitness equipment. The speed and height adjustments are fantastic. Want a slow but steep climb? No problem. How about a flat and fast sprint? All available. Change up any setting to achieve any goal. My only challenge to move it is the cable that runs up the right support post...

As members of health clubs over the years my wife and I have used many treadmills. This is a good, solid, versatile home unit with a range of performance equal to your personal fitness growth.Assembly was a chore and the electrical wire from the base to the console was too short making it difficult to connect with the console wire at the cannon plug.Constantly have to adjust the belt to keep it centered..minor thing. The fan is noisy..Mp3 system does a great job. Custom work out feature is appreciated and the ability to adjust the incline is a plus. The unit is used 5 days a week at an average of...

Takes quite a while to put together but for good reason, makes for a sturdy treadmill. When speeds reach4.5 plus MPH you need sturdy. Great machine

I am new to treadmills and reaquainted to exercise after being out of shape for about 10 years.  I have had this treadmill for almost 2 months now and have not had any issues.  It is used once a day for about a half hour, 5 to 6 times a week and use it for speed walking and the occassional short run.  There have not been any issues with this device.  It was delivered and installed properly by Sears delivery.

The workout options are good, but I have not gone through all of these options.  I do like the custom workout as I can pace myself depending on the day by alternating the workout regiment...

This is the first treadmill I have ever owned, so I really don't have anything to compare it to.  I know NordicTrack is a good brand and I am happy with this purchase.

I like the option to plug in my iPod, but I prefer to adjust the volume on the actual iPod rather than the treadmill console because I think the treadmill's volume control is too much -- one touch of the arrow up or down and the volume is significantly lowered or raised.  I feel like I have more control of the volume using the iPod itself and can raise or lower it gradually or quickly.

The different workout options are nice, and...

I could not be happier with the purchase of the NordicTrack T7 si.  It is sturdy and has the feel of a commercial treadmill without the price.  I love the large console with space for 2 water bottles (in my case, a water bottle & the TV remote).  I like the option to turn on a fan that blows in your face - perfect for working up a real sweat.  This is a quality treadmill that I would definitely recommend.  I use the treadmill in 30-minute sessions, sometimes for running and sometimes for walking.  It is perfect for my needs.

PS - it is really heavy.  We picked it up at Sears and were not...

Disappointed.

I had purchased the T7SI after my old treadmill breathed its last breath.  Initially, I was satisfied with this model.  It's features are basic (10 percent incline max, 10 mph max, a few preprogrammed workouts). As I approached the 1 year mark, the console started malfunctioning in regards to the pulse meter displaying phantom readings.  Shortly thereafter, the treadmill started stalling.  Support sent me a new console and said one of their techs would switch it.  A couple weeks after leaving a message with their local tech with no response, I just put it in myself.  Everything seemed to...

In less than one month the treadmill stopped working.  None of the buttons or touch pads would work.  I have to remove the key to get the machine to stop, even the stop button would not work.  Now they sent me totally new console for me to install.  Thankfully I have a good friend that can install it for me.

Update-Shortly after this happened a manager from nordictrack contacted me and apologized for having to install my new console on my own.  He assured me that this wouldn't happen again and gave me his personal contact information.  Hopefully I wont have to, but the treadmill is working...

My husband and I bought this almost a year ago. He put it together with a friend while I was at work. About 1/3 of the touch screen didn't work so we called Nordic-Track and they sent us a whole new console at no charge, not even shipping. Other than that issue the treadmill works great and has great programs to choose from. I wish I was able to adjust the fan, it seems like it is blowing for taller people. It folds up nice and secure but is very heavy and awkward to move.

I was very surprised at the quality of this treadmill for the money. it's almost as good as the one I was using at the gym.One thing I wouldn't recommend, however, is trying to assemble it without help. It's definitely a two man job! :)

We especially like the ability to program our own walk/run routine, because we like to work with intervals.  Its great to plug in our own CD to listen to while exercising; the speakers work well.  The fan is GREAT for extra cooling on the face!

I purchased this machine a 1 1/2 years ago , at that time I thought i had done my homework purchased a reliable product  from a known company.   Well roughly a years and 3 months ago  I had surgery which stopped me from using the treadmill.  When I was cleared to walk again I went to turn it on and it would not function,  I spent hours on the phone  with nordictrack  trying to resolve the problem , only  to be told that it would cost $750 to replace the counsel on the machine ( that is roughly the same price it goes on sale for ) . Forget the lifetime warranty on the motor and the belt...

The only other treadmills I've used are the ones at the gym so I don't have much comparison, but so far I really like this treadmill and find it comparable to the ones at the gym.  I use it about 3-4 times a week and it's been great.  It's very easy to use, love the Ipod hookup option, like the quick Incline/Speed buttons on the side.  It feels sturdy and doesn't feel too bulky.   I highly recommend this treadmill!
