Service stinks

I purchased this treadmill in April - works great! I use this machine 3-5 times a week and my workout consists of both jogging and walking. I use the interval programs that are already programmed for the machine and I believe that you can set your own as well. Although, I don't care for the HR monitor... read full review »

Does not hold up if you use alot!

Had for one year. Only weigh 160 pounds and the platform which is only made out of particle board (not metal like in the gym) has cracked twice. Both times company sent new one free of charge but second time had to install myself. Also the belt needs replaced because it is slipping. This treadill seems... read full review »

I bought a Nordictrack c2255 treadmill on 7-11-2007. My 3 year warranty expired on 7-11-2010. Guess what cracked this morning while I was running (7-19-2010)? The cheap walking platform!

8 days past the warranty! I bought an old Pro-form in the mid 90's from Sears and the walking platform never ever broke, heck I didn't know they could break! I only weigh 175lbs. Unbelievable!!! Now I have this thing sitting in my basement where everything works, except one small problem, you can't run on it unless you order an $82 part (not including shipping I am sure) and install it yourself.

I bought a...

Great Treadmill!

I have had this treadmill for over a year and I love it. It works great and is pretty simple. I have the one where I can plug in my iPod and I love it. I use it daily for walking, but my sister who is a marathon runner has used it as well and likes it. Great system, not too many buttons or extras.

It works for me.

I bought this treadmill from Sears back in May 2007. I had initially bought a Proform elliptical trainer that started having problems the minute I brought it home. I tried called the repair service to have it remedied, but it was still having issues so I just decided to return it. There was just no point in keeping something that was broken to begin with. Well, the Sears sales people were very gracious about the exchange for the new treadmill. The delivery guys even put the machine together for me. So far, I have not had any problems with this machine and I walk on it about 10 miles a week. My... read full review »

Excellent value

This is the third treadmill I've owned and by far the best quality and value. As a runner, I need a treadmill that can endure the overall abuse on the motor and the belt. The N.T 2255 has proved to me that it can stand up to the daily wear and tear. The price makes it even better. I did not want to pay the price that a gym would pay so this is a very affordable option. I highly recommend the Nordic Track 2255.

great treadmill!!

I haven't ever owned a treadmill so I don't know what to compare this to BUT I enjoy it. It was easy to put together. The incline is awesome, you can really feel it like you were climbing a hill. I like how quiet it is. I use it downstairs and nobody upstairs can hear me! I would recommend it. I even jogged on it! I was nervous but it was great. I also enjoy the I fit card. enjoy the workout!

Treadmill is great

The treadmill was easy to set up, works great. Very pleased. Pros: Nice wide running area, great display with much information, easy to learn to operate, impact on legs not too harsh and adjusts. Cons: Program disk that came with not really for beginners. Better off to change speed/incline on your own if just starting out. We are completely satisfied with this model and we looked a long time before making up our minds. Sears had the best pricing for it we could find too. I would recommend this model with confidence.

Overall Good Product

This treadmill has overall great features that include a durable incline mechanism and diverse workout options. Very user friendly The built-in fan has had some problems, and the unit is rather loud. The belt has needed quite a bit of tightening in a relatively short amount of time, however I would rate this product good overall, 4 stars.

5 stars

My husband and I bought this treadmill in February. We have been using it on a daily basis so you can imagine the pounding it's getting. We are very happy and satisfied with this product. The purchase price was a little more than we expected to spend but we knew that in the long run it would be very well worth it and it has been a great investment. We have both lost a few pant sizes and continue to lose the inches. Overall we are very pleased and we have been recommending this product to everyone who has asked about it. If you're looking for a great buy worth your $$, this is it !

Very solid buy

I have found this treadmill to be a quality product at a good price. My wife, son and I have all used the treadmill quite a bit and the main problem is finding a time slot in the morning to use it. I've ran up to 10 miles an hour on the treadmill and have had no problems. Overall durability would be hard to rate after only three months but I've been very satisfied with the product so far.

It sure works for me!

I recently purchased this (in February) at my local Sears store. I'm enjoying it! Its so easy to operate and the various levels of workout, I could not ask for more. Simple assembly, though you might need some muscle for the weight of the base if you're taking it upstairs like we had to. Quite durable, though I don't use it everyday. But it provides what I need when I need it. Simple to operate. I suppose I can say for me there is a static shock issue, which my husband never seems to encounter when he is on the treadmill. The price isn't so great (sorry) could cost a little less, but nonetheless... read full review »

Great Value

I have had this treadmill now for 2 weeks. It's very sturdy and I feel that the $699 I paid for it on sale, was a great deal. This is a high quality product and I really like the fan. I haven't used the iFIT function yet but am looking forward to it. I run/walk about 20 miles/wk and love that I don't have to wait in line at the gym for a machine and I also have the ability to run in the air conditioned comfort of my home when it's too hot outside. Also, Sears has the best delivery service out there. In the last year I've had a washer and dryer, refrigerator, and then this treadmill delivered and... read full review »

Off to a great start!

I recently purchased this treadmill and so far have had a great experience. Assembly was not difficult (although you do need two people), and it performs very well. The controls are easy to use, and the belt is a good size. I have a longer stride, and I have plenty of room on this. It is not very easy to move around on carpet, but not sure any of them would be.

Something went wrong with this model.

Normally I am a fan of NordicTrack products, but I must be frank and call it like it is. I think Nordic needs to retire or substantially modify this model. Unlike other Nordic products, this one seems really flimsy; like it will fall apart if you weigh over 200 lbs. The noise is another problem. It is simply unbearable. Even with my sound reduction Bose headphones on, all I hear is the hum and whine of the machinery. I thought it was just my unit that was defective, until I spoke with a person from my work who felt virtually the same about their unit as I do about mine. NordicTrack, better... read full review »

Very happy!

This is my first treadmill. However, I have used treadmills at the rec center, so I am comparing this to those. When I first started looking at treadmills I was shocked by the prices! I felt I would have to go into debt or buy an inferior one. When I found this model at Sears I was impressed by the quality I could get for the price. It was nice that I could try it out in the store and get a feel for it. I have had it for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love it! I highly suggest this treadmill to anyone who is searching for quality and value. Hint: keep an eye out for sales. I purchased... read full review »
