works for both of us

We have had our treadmill for about 8 months. My husband is a big guy and this treadmill fits him well. He uses it with a significant incline at a jogging speed 5-6 times a week and we have never had a problem. I use it to run 9 minute miles and it works great for that as well. It is well constructed.... read full review »

Buyer Beware

This treadmill was purchased in October of 2006. It sat for a few months, relatively unused. In March of this year the treadmill started to see some real miles. My wife and myself combined, total about 20+ miles per week. I am 6'3", 250lbs and today, 4 miles into a 5 mile run the deck split in half.... read full review »

Great Treadmill

This treadmill is easy to use as well as safe and relatively quiet. The incline is a little loud but that is the only complaint I have. The workout mode choices as well as the speed/incline options are many. This is a very comfortable treadmill and it's easy to get a full work out. I am able to watch TV while running and having the fan blowing. I would definitely recommend this product!

I LOVE IT!!!

I HAVE HAD THIS TREADMILL FOR ABOUT A MONTH NOW AND MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE USED IT JUST ABOUT EVERY OTHER DAY OR TWO. I POWER WALK OF COURSE AND HE RUNS. I LOVE THIS BECAUSE IT SO USER FRIENDLY AND COMPACT WHEN NOT IN USE. SOME SAY THE FAN IS EXTREMELY LOUD BUT I BEG TO DIFFER. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH IT MY FIRST TIME THIS IS MY FIRST TREADMILL AND HOPEFULLY MY LAST. WE FEEL IT WAS A STEAL FOR JUST $699.00 BUT VERY MUCH WORTH IT =)

Great Treadmill

We got this on sale for $699. It is a great treadmill for the price. The fan is a little loud and the incline motor is a little loud while adjusting the incline, but other than that it is pretty quiet. The belt is nice an wide and long so it is easy to stay on without feeling like you are about to fall off. It is easy to adjust your workout. Delivery was great. They showed up on time and were very careful bringing it in. They assembled it and stayed while I started it to and adjusted it to make sure everything was working fine.

A great treadmill for the price!

I live in the northeast part of the US and experience a lot of cold and damp weather during the winter. I decided to purchase a treadmill to use in wintertime to keep in shape. Saw this one advertised by Sears and decided to visit the store to purchase. After discussing the pros and cons with the store employees, I decided to purchase this model. Fortunately, I have a Dodge Grand Caravan and needed all of the room in the rear (Passenger seat and third seat out) to enable me to bring it home. My wife and I have used this treadmill since December 2005 and have found it to be reliable, relatively... read full review »

Great Value for the Price

I decided on this model based on familiarity with other Nordic Track products and consumer reviews. I love it! It's quiet, the deck is large enough and stable enough to run on comfortably. I realize some people complained about the weight of the treadmill, but I personally did not find it heavy - perhaps if I would have tried to carry it up 3 flights of stairs I may have had an issue - but I handled it myself and probably would not have found it stable enough if it weighed less. Set up was quick and easy and again I could have done it myself, but there was one step that is best done with a helper.... read full review »

NordicTrack Treadmill, A2250

We purchased this treadmill in January and have around 150 miles on it so far. It is used several times a week for 3-5 miles each time. So far there have not been any problems. It is smooth, quiet, and easy on the joints. The fan is a little noisy but I would not go without it! There is a spot for your water bottle. The monitor shows where you are in your workout with a quarter mile track going around - with calorie burn and pace readout on it. We are very pleased with this purchase and are expecting it to last many years.

Great Overall Product

Bought this treadmill about 3 weeks ago on sale for $699. Compared it to many different models and brands at multiple locations. I spoke with a number of people at work about the brands they had chosen and how satisfied they were with the product. Nordic Track received high remarks for quality and features. I was expecting to pay over $1000 for a quality machine but was pleased to catch this one on sale. My wife and I both use the machine daily (she walks and I run) and we couldn't be more pleased with the cushion deck and easy to use features. This machine is very difficult to move, but it has... read full review »

Great treadmill - I'm very satisfied

I've been using this treadmill to run and walk on now for a few months and absolutely love it. It has over 100 miles on it now and it's been great, no problems whatsoever. I would highly recommend this treadmill to anyone, whether walking or running.

NordicTrack A2250 - GREAT product.

I recently bought this product when it was on sale for $699. I am extremely happy with the product itself (see below), but I had some problems with Sears customer service and I would recommend buying the product online rather than in store. I bought the treadmill at my local Sears store rather than online, because I had intended to pick it up rather than pay the delivery charge. However, the box was too big to fit in our SUV!!! It is about 7 feet long and about five feet wide, and weighs a ton. The box is actually attached to a wooden pallet, so if you are thinking of purchasing this, I would highly... read full review »

Good treadmill for the cost!

I have owned this treadmill for seven weeks and put 75 miles on it. I am very impressed with its performance-it is a good, sturdy machine and shakes very little when I run. (I run anywhere from 2 to 5 miles at a time.) It definitely rivals the gym treadmills, which surprised me. I thought the price was great for the quality-I bought mine when it was $999. I have yet to use the iFit Workout Cards but am looking forward to it. Oh-and the fan is great! :)

So far so good

We bought this for our small business. We've had it for about 3 weeks and so far everyone who has used it has loved it. The wide belt and long tread allows those of us who want to run on it do so with ease. The iFit function works very well and adds an interesting element to a workout. The built in speakers and fan are very nice features as well. Lastly, our aging knees are benefiting from the adjustable cushioning feature. I find I can go an extra 0.5 to 1.0 mile before the joint pain sets in (compared to hitting the pavement outdoors). Seems to be a very steady performer at a very reasonable... read full review »
