Great machine, my whole family love to use it.
I bought this treadmill 2 months ago and LOVE IT.
I walk/jog 30 min on this almost every day.
I love the adjustable impact of the belt since I have family history of knee problems and want to avoid hard impact. I bought the ifit card for beginners. That is great. I use my mp3 player with this treadmill which is great since I have a little one at home. I can play my music thru the speakers and not wear headphones. the music comes out thru the speaker on the treadmill. great idea for those of us that need music to exercise, but need to hear whats going on in the home. After wearing out my ProForm treadmill, I purchased the Viewpoint. I have had it about 2 months now and I honestly have to admit, I am in love with this machine. Having the ability to watch tv, listen to my mp3 player, read or use the iFit chips, I am NEVER bored! What a great workout you get using the iFit chips... wow. And with the tv, time literally flies. No more excuses not to get fit!
With a possible speed of 12 mph and a 12% incline, I doubt I will ever outgrow it. It has a 2.5 hp continuous duty motor with a lifetime warranty. For me this was what put this treadmill above all the others...

I've had this product for a few months now and really enjoy the product. There are two of us that us it on a regularly and have had no problems. Great treadmill for every one
After using treadmills for years and owning a few, I finally found one that I will have for awhile. My daughters and I use it daily. So easy, convenient and the options are great. It is a very durable, stable and quiet treadmill. I would recommend this and will purchase NordicTrack products from now on.
Very tough workhorse of a machine. Not a problem for heavy people.
I have had this treadmill for a few months and it is great- no problems at all. The television and speakers are great. I DVR my favorite shows or just watch the news and before you know it, the workout is over. The I-fit workouts really get you moving and burns many calories. I will definitely by a NordicTrack customer for life!
If you have joint problems I would go with elyptical. I had to sell mine in order to by my elyptical machine. I started feeling low back pain and knee issues. A friend suggested I switch so I did. There is nothing wrong with the Nordic, I just could no continue using it.
I have had many treadmills but never a Nordic Track. It doesn't compare to any other. I fully recommend spending the extra money on a Nordic Track. This particular one is tops for the dollar amount. The TV is wonderful, Ipod listening is great and the fan and quiet motor are wonderful. I hope to have this treadmill for a very long time!!!! I give it a 10!!!!!!
I recently ran on the viewpoint 3000 and enjoyed it. they cushioning on this machine was great. you can actually adjust it to your workout. It also has a really nice tv screen built into it. This machine is a great machine, especially for the price you pay. thanks nordictrack
Have had this machine for a couple of months now, and it has been great. I created a playlist on my Ipod - plug it in and run to music from the on-board speakers. My workouts fly by and I'm seeing the benefits of less weight, better shape and just more energy. My wife records her favorite shows and watches them on the TV while she walks/runs. The foldup feature lets you put it where it isn't totally in the way. You will need some help hauling it into your house - it is big and heavy.
I read mixed reviews on this paticular treadmill, but had to trust my gut on this one because it was on sale! I thought if the thing broke down after a couple of years, at this price it was worth it. But, I really don't believe with proper care anything will happen. Don't use WD40 on it, you have to use a special lube. Keep it clean and free of dust. It should last! (Don't let your kids or grandkids play on it!) It's a nice machine! It was missing a couple of screws but that is no problem, we had them on hand. The speakers are pretty decent. I ordered this Nordictrack viewpoint 3000 on 12-29-07 online from sears after trying it in the store. I bought the nordic trac 3 yr in home warranty /it and total bill w/tax s&h=$1605 ($1199.00 for treadmill). It was delivered the following day by sears on 12-30-07 within 21 hours from the time I ordered it online !! Delivered on Sunday morning, Yes Sunday morning on a holiday weekend !! Wow !! Sears has come along way in improving there service from one of the worst to the best I've ever seen.
