“great lantern”

This lantern is very bright and has a long run time. I think the problem everyone else had is due to battery maintenance. This lantern incorperates a sealed lead acid battery similar to the one in your car and can not be stored in a weak or completly discharged state. If you left your car sitting around...

“Northwestern Territory Lantern”

My mother bought this lantern last year. Never used it, didn't even pull it out of the box. I pulled it out and tried to charge it for use and it won't even charge! I'll never buy anything from this company and makes me not want anything from K-mart or Sears.

“Don't Buy”

Like the rest, It works wonderfully the 1st go out but then it won't hold a charge. Northwest Territory was looking to make a quick buck here. Too large for a paperweight.

“This lantern is a waste of money! ”

We purchased this lantern just before our last camping trip last year.  It worked perfectly ONCE!  We pulled it out for our most recent trip, charged it for several hours and it worked for less than 5 minutes!  This lantern is a complete waste of money...next time I will spend the extra $15 and buy Coleman!

“This review is regarding the SY640 Rechargeable Lantern”

I purchased the Lantern at Kmart about 3 years ago.  We are planning another camping trip and the battery has oxidized and can not find a replacement battery.  It has become an absolute waste of money. I do not recommend this lantern at all

“Not a good product”

The lantern would only charge completely the first time I charged it. From then on it wouldn't charge completely, even after being plugged in for 24 hours. And it would light for less than 4 hours. I won't ever buy a Northwest Territory product again. This lantern was junk.

“Garbage”

Bought it summer 08, charged it up for a camping trip 09 didn't work. Only used it 2 or 3 times. I'll see if I can fix it but I won't buy another one.

“5 stars”

gives out bright light. Went camping recently and one single charge lasted a couple of nights of regular usage. I love the fact that the lantern has a rechargeable battery built-in, which can be charge from an AC outlet or car cigar lighter outlet. Highly recommended.

“No replacement bulbs”

I bought this when we had an island-wide blackout and although it did work well when I first purchased it, it doesn't anymore. Not to mention, I cannot find the replacement bulbs anywhere.

“coleman lantern with remote”

This lantern is not only very affordable, but a great gift for anyone. It gives adequate lighting whether your night fishing or have a power-outage due to storms.
