Upon arriving at Sears I was greeted by the automotive department's sales person. He was very pleasant and friendly. He quickly took care of my needs and got my car ready for the oil to be changed. He showed me to the waiting area. He periodically checked on me and let me know the progress on my service. He also informed me of items that I may want to check into such as replacing my air filter and looking at getting new tires. Check out was also quick. I was out of the door and on my way in less than 30 minutes. I had a great experience.
I had a pleasant experience having my oil changed tonight. It was late and I was going on a trip the following day and my oil change was long overdue. Sears advertised a special for a $22 oil change so I went right in. I got exactly what I asked for. Nothing more nothing less. I was treated very well and I was long gone about 45 minutes later.
Awesome experience!
It looks like the promo for $17 +tax, oil change DOES NOT INCLUDE THE FILTERS! You will be charged additional $4 for these filters, which should be included anyway, but because FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, people like myself and many others are trapped . My advice- go somewhere else. You will do yourself a HUGE FAVOR! PS: My car was opened in the parking lot, after I they felt to call me to let me know it was ready for p/u. SHAME SEARS!
Sears has the absolute best price on a complete oil and filter change service that I can find. I can usually get everything done, including oil disposal, for under $20, including tax!
They usually get it done in about 30 minutes or so. I always do a little shopping anyway in the store, so a fast time isn't that important to me.
I have used Sears for about a year now for my oil and filter changes, and am glad that I don't have to crawl under the vans any more to do it my self. If I did, i wouldn't be saving any money paying less than $20 for this service.
I will never take my car back to Sears to have an oil change done. First, they didn't put the required amount of oil in my car for my engine. I ended up in the middle of picking someone up when my engine started making the "I need oil!" noise. I checked the oil and there wasn't any. I had just gotten the change done two days before. Second, they didn't top off ANY of the fluids that they were supposed to. Thinking they had topped off my windshield wiper fluid I found myself surprised when it was empty! When my mother called to complain they treated her as though she didn't know what...
read full review »I'm surfing on line last night and find this great deal for a Sears auto center oil change. I pay for two oil changes and set the appointment on line. I'm thinking this is a great deal and I really need the oil changed in both cars.
I arrived this morning, pulled in to service and show my prepaid receipt to the service manager. He then informs me that I have only paid for a oil change and not the filter. I tell the manager, "I'm sorry, when I purchased this last night that was not disclosed." He then shows me the pricing schedule for an oil change posted on the wall and it clearly...
