“Olympus E-510 is a great first D-SLR camera with fine results.”

I purchased the Olympus E Volt E 510 Digital SLR camera for my niece's Christening. My family decided they wanted professional quality photographs and my old point and shoot just wasn't going to cut it. I have to say that I am quite pleased with the results thus far. I have clear crisp images and the image stabilization built into the body of the camera helps considerably. I still would recommend a tripod for any shots that must be absolutely perfect. “steep learning curve well worth the trip”

I have had previous DSLR cameras and wanted to get into a higher quality version.  The Olympus e-510 is IT!

There are more menus than I can count which made for a steep learning curve, but the photos are worth the time spent learning.  I love this camera.  Perfect fit for my hands. 10MegaPixel, good optical zoom.
