“Would not fulfill rebates”
I submitted a rebate online in January, but never got anything back. Called in October, and was told that there was no rebate offer available at the time of purchase. I gave them the rebate offer number as shown in the rebate form, they claimed that was not a valid number. I offered to email them the rebate form from Sears.com, they refused. I called Sears Customer Solutions; the representative there told me that rebates are oursourced to an external company, and Sears has no control over how rebates are handled. I have to say that Sears made a very bad choice in choosing its rebate service provider: this is going to hurt Sears in the long run -- now I have zero confidence in any rebate offered by Sears.
