Good Everyday Flatware

This set cures problems we've had with our last 2 sets of everyday flatware -- despite being much more expensive well-known brands, the handles bent daily. Putting them away after washing meant either straightening each 1, or a messy tangle in the drawer. While this Oneida set is not as nicely finished... read full review »

Not a "gift" item! For commercial use

This is a BULK commercial use item. It is in the "gift" category on the website. It comes in a plain brown box with each piece in plastic and then rubberbanded. Upon removal of a few pieces, it is found to be very poor quality. Mass produced and not polished. They have rough edges and sharpness around... read full review »

could be fancier

It looks to be a good price, but could be a fancier design, this way it could be chosen as a gift.

Good by college cafeteria standards

I purchased this silverware because the price was so low, and in hopes that it would be an alright sight. For the price of $9.00 I can't be too disappointed, but the quality of this set is very low. The forks seem rather flimsy, and at least a couple of the spoons have had jagged edges.

excellent value

I bought this set for my sister who never has enough silverware when we come over. I received it yesterday and it is perfectly fine for an everyday set. I feel no shame giving this to her as a gift, especially when I tell her how much I paid for it. We always compare our great deals.

g'ma kay

I ordered this for a friend's wedding gift. From what I could tell, it is a very good value for an everyday use. It comes with a warranty, so if any of the pieces are defective, as in sharp edges, it would be replaced, right? Anyway, I think I'll order another set for myself and use it for Thanksgiving dinner this year instead of plastic.
