I got this one for my sister and she couldn't stop raving about it. It seems much more powerful than the one that I purchased for my mother the previous year by a different manufacturer. It blends ice easily and has a chic design!

For the price (not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive), the Oster Blender blends quickly and thoroughly (but is not real quiet). It is not all that unattractive, either.
This is a nice blender with a lot of speed options and works well.
I bought this blender to go with my home appliaces i love the finish. It works great i have had it for about 4 months and it works great. I'm able to blend just about anything. I love it because i can make smoothies which I add lost of ice and it still works.
Bought it last year when i was in great need of a grinder after moving to US. Am an Indian and love cooking. Infact love eating too. Try out my own recipies whenever I get time. May be inherited it from my mom :) .
I must say we have been using this brand for about 22 yrs now. My mom has 2 of these kinds back in India so was all the more encouraged to buy it for meeting our specific kinds of needs. We need like high power grinder that can grind spices. Prepare specific kind of pastes, purees for our curries. So that means I can keep it running for more time than the normal grinders. oster is good for blending any thing . it is easy to clean . the main draw back is the plastic cap under the jar is broken very oftenly means in 3 - 4 months.so i tried it another brand but it is not good . so i again i switch to oster bleder with warrenty purchse .
