My old blender ,20 plus years, gave out, so I ran into Sears , looked them over picked out what i could afford, brought it home and really love it. I crushed ice great also. I haven't got to use it for other things yet but hope to someday....

Well, this is kind of nice blender, it does the ice thing and goes well with that. Actually it is my first blender, so can not compare it with the others, by the way, my only problem with that is that It can not handle large pieces as well.
It has an easy clean option which I like.
We use our blender almost everyday for shakes, smoothies & sauces. My kids are not fond of eating vegetables all the time. So to make sure that they have the right serving of veggies everyday & at the same they like shakes & smoothies, I add some vegetables to their shakes. I always get perfect blend all the time. My blender helps me a lot.
My sister-in-law gave this to me when we moved into our first house. We use it all of the time! We make lots of fruit smooths and other Adult beverages. It is easy to use! And it is easy to clean. IT has many different stages of use. So you can blend or liquife ect. I have had it for over 4 years now and it has not broke at all in anyway. It is still just as good.
I just recently bought the Oster Blender and it works perfectly. I enjoy making fruit drinks with the blender and the price was just right!
I purchased this as a gift and was very satisfied with the overall price and efficiency of the product. It is very easy to use and not as bulky as most blenders.

I make a smoothie every morning and had a blender for 6 years that was fantastic. Finally it stopped working,
so, I purchase this one, it is absolutely horrible, the base unscrews from the glass while blending and the ingredients
go all over the place, the white cuff, don't know what it is for but it snapped right off. Have had this blender three
months and am on my way out to buy another kind unfortunately.
I LIKE MY OSTER BLENDER! IT'S VERY PRACTICAL AND IT'S CHEAP! I LOVE THE GLASS JAR... IS VERY EASY TO CLEAN... WORKS GREAT! THIS BLENDER IT'S MY FIRST BLENDER THAT I BOUGHT AND STILL WORKING AFTER 5 YEARS!
This blender blends the best compared to others, wish they could sell it in the original packaging with a plastic container instead of the glass jar

From the day My Mixer stopped working I tried many models available in the US only to be returned (NOT Satisfied). Then thought to go ONLY for Indian Mixer.So SEARched the net high and low for an Indian Mixer during this time I came across one sensible Lady's blog where she mentioned ' Oster 16 Speed blender'+ 'Coffee Grinder' would be a perfect replace for any Indian Mixer.
So went to store to buy the two, but to my Luck the Store was out of Stock on 16 speed so brought home 'OSTERIZER 14 Speed' + 'Cuisinart Coffee Grinder' and was Pleasantly Surprised by they fine Grinding.

read full review »The oster blender is a great machine. It has great looks for the modernday kitchen. It is essentially great for mixing drinks and crushing ice. This blender is even dishwasher safe. I love my oster blender and will continue to buy oster products for some time to come. Pick this blender for effecient longlasting blends.

We bought this Oster blender two months ago and we are startng to love it.
My wife tried grinding all sorts of Indian chutneys (pastes) and they all came out good. Grind a little longer and you get a wonderfull smooth paste.
We also tried making dough for Vada. It was nice and soft like our traditional Indian grinders.
Dry grind is also good. We make pepper powder and Dhaniya powder in this grinder.
