Not sure about you but growing up in California we had an opportunity to play outside during Thanksgiving, the adults would be cooking and watching a game and the kids would play outside, how about your family?

Inappropriate?

The kids are always on the bikes, or skateboards in my family while dinner is cooking! And, this is in the Chicago area. We are out in the cold, a lot, though. As long as the kids are bundled, it doesn't seem to bother them!

I have lots of friends that have a yearly football game in the area, too, on Thanksgiving day.
