“Bought a 42" Proscan less than two years ago and it has died!”

Bought a 42" Proscan TV less than two years ago. In my opinion the picture was always good. Because I use and antenna, there was a problem when TV stations went completely digital this past year. I basically can get all the TV stations that I want when I position the antenna in two directions. When I aimed the antenna in one direction and scanned for channels on my Proscan it picked up the necessary channels that I wanted, however, when I aimed the antenna in the other direction and scanned for channels again, the Proscan wiped out most of the channels it picked up in the other direction. “Thanks for the information n how to deal with companies.”

I am in the need of a new TV in the future.  Ours is working but we thought of putting one in the downstairs . Nothing mandatory but possibly in the future.   I like the tenactity of the television buyer and how he had to have his TV problem go away.

“DON'T BUY PROCAN TV's BUT DO SHOP AT SEARS”

WE BOUGHT A PROSCAN 37" DVD/HDTV AT SEARS ONLINE.  IT WAS FAULTY.  THERE WERE LINES ACROSS THE SCREEN VERTICALLY & HORIZONTALLY.  INITIALLY, SEARS WOULDN'T TAKE IT BACK AS THEY SAID IT HAD BEEN DROPPED.  I CALLED SEARS HQ & LONG STORY SHORT THEY SENT ME A PROSCAN REPLACEMENT.  IT WAS BAD TOO!  THE POWER-ON SWITCH WAS INOPERATIVE.  I CALLED SEARS ONE SOURCE (WHERE THE REPLACEMENT TV CAME FROM) & THEY TOLD ME TO LOOK AT THE LOCAL SEARS & GET THE SKU# OF THE ONE I WANTED & THEY WOULD SHP IT TO ME.  I GOT THEM TO AGREE TO LET ME EXCHANGE AT THE LOCAL STORE BECAUSE ALL THAT WAS LEFT WAS THE... read full review »
