My family has had this piece for almost 10 yrs, we have used it constantly. It is an exceptional piece from cookies to pizza. It is somewhat different cooking on stoneware, if its already hot, food starts to cook before hitting the oven and when you take it out the stone keeps the heat and can also continue cooking when you take it out. There is never a problem with sticking and the stone is fairly easy to clean other than being a little heavy. I highly recommend Pampered Chef stone cookware. The difference in your food quality will be noticed.
I have had this for about 3 years and it sits in the cupboard as it is to heavy for me but my friends all have one and they love it.
Excellent size for an entire family, not only great for pizza's, but we use it for cookies, pitta breads, and other like foods. Easly cleaned and takes up little space for storage. Couldn't ask for much more in the way of a cooking stone. Little pricey but worth the money anyway

I love this pampered chef stone. i use it for make quesadillas, pizza, cookies and pumpkin roll and it never sticks to the pan and no oil needs to be applied to it. The only thing that bothers me is not being able to wash it with soap and you can not put it in the dish washer but it is worth buying. I really do love mine.
This stone is awesome. i love it and have had it for ever. The stone gets darker with more uses and that is the best part. it just means that it is well seasoned. the more you use it the less you have to do to it. I would recommend this product to anyone that loves to cook in the oven!
My original stone is perfectly seasoned (I've had it for nearly 15 years so it is black) and it gets used all the time. I've since purchased others and have enjoyed them just as much. If I'm baking, it is always on a Pampered Chef baking stone. Everything cooks so much more evenly and won't stick.
I've had my stone for several years and use it pretty much weekly. its good for biscuits, pizza, cookies, i NEVER burn anything using my stone. My daughter bought a stone and never used it a few months ago we used her pan and burned a batch of cookies. i convinced her to get that stone out and the rest of the batches were fine now she only uses her stone for cookies : ) its super easy to clean.
The Pampered Chef Large Stone is a must for every kitchen, especially if you cook biscuits. I use this stone to bake my biscuits on. The best attribute of the stone is it's ability to hold heat. It will keep whatever you cook on it warm for about 30 to 40 minutes after it is removed from the oven. I use it for pizzas also, you can cook and serve from the same stone. Clean up is super easy. I recommend this item for any cook.
I bought this from a party and I really enjoy making pizza on it. I wish I would have gotten the rectangular stone, though, so I could fit two on the same oven rack. The handles are quite handy - my old stone did not have handles.
Our baking stone is over 13 years old and is wonderful. We use it almost daily.
When a friend of mine started selling Pampered Chef products a few years ago, one of the first items I bought was the Large Round Baking Stone because I cook frozen pizzas all the time. I love it! Why?? Not only does the crust get crisper than when you use a traditional pizza pan, it keeps the cheese from dripping onto the bottom of the stove like it does when you don't use a pan. It's also a snap to clean. Even my husband loves it! This product makes an excellent gift for single people as well as for bridal showers.

read full review »Pampered Chef has some great products, this is no exception! I leave my round stone in the oven, it is easy to remove with the metal stand. The more you use it the better it gets. Reheating pizza is so easy, you come out with perfect cruchy crusts every time. Baking rolls and cookies, they come out perfect every time. It is easy to clean, just scrape it off with a spatula, but when it needs a good cleaning I keep it in the oven while using the self cleaning mode. I leave it in there and it comes out perfectly clean and new every time.
I would not call this a bargain specially considering the price tag. Pizza comes out real nice though. The least the company can do is to have lifetime warranty on this. Perhaps that way they will try to make it more durable.
