I shopped around quite a bit before deciding on this set, didnt want to spend the extra thousand for 1080p. I couldnt be happier with this item. The set up is very simple, I was watching it less than 2 hours after getting it home. I had to get a high def cable box from the cable company and eventually will get a surround system, but this tv sounds great the way it is. There seems to be plenty of plugs and connectors on this set both front and back for pretty much anything you want to add. Ive only had this set 4 days but havent found anything I dont like about it.Panasonic 50 in. Class Plasma Integrated HDTV (720p), VIERA
