This is an excellent camcorder for beginners. It has excellent picture quality. The only drawback is that it lacks still imaging ability. “Recording & editing”

We purchased this camcorder in November to record on our trip to Las Vegas but could not see most of it because it was very dark. Lighting was poor when we recorded but assumed that the picture would be clear but did not happened. If you record in dark the picture will hard to see when replaying.... read full review »

For the money, not a bad deal. I have had mine a little over a year the operation of the unit is easy, I have not done any editing with it so I can not commit on that. I have used it at all types of events inside and outside. have had no problems.

“Disappointed”

The camera is nice, I tried recording a video, does well; then tried to edit the movie in Windows Movie Maker...cannot do. The only reason I bought this camera was to record and be able to edit the videos. Cannot do with the camera........going to try to return it.
