Hey, chains are hard to put on by nature and these are no exception. Until someone invents something better, these guys are as good as they get. I gave all the stars because they fit well, stayed on under hard use and seem to be durable. I installed them in 20 minutes or so and they turned those turf... review »

These chains are not easy to install as the fit is too tight and the directions are not clear. They work well, but took way too long to put on and to figure why they were not big enough to even come close to installing as directed. I finally figured out it was just poor instrucitons. a real pain to get on and adjusted just right, but once on, they work great. I was concerned about placing the wheel weights on after the chains were installed, but when using the quick release wheel weights, it is not a problem at all. In fact, the weights take up a little of the chain slack making the whole system work better. A must when plowing snow in combination with the wheel weights.

there hard to get on at first but after thats done unless there not on right they won't fall of and with mine i didn't even need wheel weights the only reason its a 4 is there hard to get on
