LockedSears Optical

OK this is embarassing. I lost some weight, so fast that my glasses fell off my face and shattered. I had a pretty thick prescription.

Can anyone tell me their experiences with Sears Optical and the waiting times? how are the prices and service there?

I went once but my husband goes there often for work safety glasses. There was no waiting. They did not work out for me because they did not take my vision plan. There is not a huge selection for safety glasses. I find that the prices are ok if you compare them to local shops and big name chains.

When I go to get my next pair I will check out Walmart and the warehouse clubs first. Sorry sears. I only use glasses for night driving and in places I am unfamiliar with. I like my glasses cheap!

I am supposed to get my glasses replaced at Veterans Affairs. The waiting list is long, especially considering how few of us vets are even allowed to get eyeglasses. As long as I have waited, I suppose Sears Optical might work, but I do have a road trip coming up.
