Pros
Quiet(for a parrot), Good natured, even tempered, likes to be with their person
Cons
messy(like all parrots), may not be cuddly

Pet Parrot pionus — 

Pionus parrots are wonderful birds.  They are quiet (for a parrot).  Generally good natured and not overly demanding.  My Olivia would push your hand away if she wasn't interested in being touched at that moment.  Many species would try to nip at you under those circumstances.  She would cuddle sometimes and many times just want to be with you.  Unforunately my Olivia died last week due to a cat attack after escaping from me.
