“Bad Philips Experience”

We bought a Philips 42" 1080P a year and a half ago, when suddenly one day we had no picture.  We've since sent it out for repair, where a HD TV tech couldn't trace down which "board" was bad.  Another tech., after ruling out all simple and cheap fixes, now says the same thing....a bad "board"...depending on which one the part could be $175 to $450...add labor to that and your practically talking a new TV......Of course the TV's out of warranty.....Can only say that my Philips is a lemon...and get the extended warranty if you ignore my story.....

“has outstanding picture and sound.”

It has outstanding picture quality. Easy to setup. Lots of features. great sound quality. I have enjoyed this television for 2 years. Would recommend to any body looking for a great LCD tv for gaming or watching movies.have had no problems
