The Philips 52PFL7422D/37 52" LCD TV's engine produces a "perfect pixel" picture when channels with variable picture quality are selected from my cable provider. The picture quality with the automatic dynamic control of contrast to color provides viewing all channels with an excellent picture. The SD stations are clear and the channels with programming in HD have outstanding picture quality. The USB connection allowed a software upgrade in January of 2008 to correct a problem with the picture when I attached a HDMI cable to my TiVo. Philips' website explained the problem and provided a download to my computer's USB connection for transferring the software to the TV. I am pleased with this TV's ability to upgrade future software changes.
