LockedAnyone have a Droid?

I have a storm now, and like it a lot, but when the time comes I may consider another phone. Any thoughts?

Oh, I wish!

I could have kept my PMT position and done nothing but concentrate on ratchet rebuilding and the maintenance of store displays exclusively, while the droid did all the busy work.

That would have been so SWEET!

A droid, like from Star Wars?

I got a full size R2-D2 replica off ebay for like $800.  It was expensive but soooo worth it.

I've got the G1, the original Android based phone and I love it! I hope the Droid fixes all the minor annoyances the original generation of phone had.

So the G1 repairs older droids? What about memory swipes, can it do that?

I got the motorola droid from Verizon and I love it..

I previously had a blackberry curve (about 5 to be exact ) and honestly I don't care for them.. ( My opinion)

The droid has cool features and its a good smartphone..

If you get it through Tmobile it was having problems with updates... returned it for the My Touch! I LOVE IT!  :)

I had a Roomba (for testing) that did a sweet job in the warehouse.

It found stuff that we just couldn't reach, and even returned to it charging dock, when it got "tired".

I have a G1 and have had for some long time, but I am not happy with the Wi-Fi pick-up.  My wife's cheapo Samsung blows it away.  I will not get another Droid

Looking for something new. I've tried Linux on Internet tablet, tried Symbian smart phones from Nokia,, WM, had a a taste of iPhone , Blackberry and others.

Haven't tried Android yet. Is it worth of trying?

I know I will never find a perfect phone but at least something that would make me productive with daily tasks. Otherwise all you do finding updates, patches or fixing software or even hardware...so tired of that. Just want to get a device that will serve me not the way around...

I have a storm now and my girlfriend has a droid.  We've had more problems than those phones are worth, or what they cost us anyway.  Both of us wish verizon would just get the iphone already.

Motorola cliq seems to have a pretty easy user interface and I haven't had any issues.

Well, it works...but the Android app store is about 1-2 years behind Apple's app store.

What will you use your phone for, mostly?

Andriod app store is behind but freeware online apps are readily available.

The Android system is great.  It allows for complete customization.  I don't think you would be disappointed with a Droid
