After we put clear packaging tape over the speaker to muffle the noise, our 12 month old fell in love with this toy. The balls fly all over the place, making her get up and chase them. The toy times out after about 20 seconds, so it isn't endlessly running. It is bright and colorful. My least favorite things are that you have to use specific balls and the speaker is LOUD.Overall, great toy.
Love this! My daughter was amazed that the balls popped out. As she got older she would try to shove them in the tube herself though. She also hid her pacifiers in there (we could never figure out where she had them hidden until I saw her do it one day!) All in all it is a cute little toy, but after a while you need to replace the batteries or else the fan doesn't really make them pop up anymore.
My daughter received this as a gift when she was about 14 months old. At first I thought this would be one of those toys that only did a couple of things and would end up on the top shelf in the closet, boy was I wrong. She loved this toy. She would play with it every day and laugh the whole time. Her favorite thing to do was stand over the hole and let the balls pop out and get her in the forehead. My sister got this toy for her birthday and she loves it, as does my son. They love to watch the balls go up in the air, and down the ramp. However, there were a couple of problems we kept having with the toy. One, if it has new batteries you had to sit there and hold your hand over where the balls come out or they would shoot across the room. Two, they started shoving other toys in the tunnel and they would get stuck. Other then that a great toy.
This was given to me as a gift from a friend. We have several of the playschool toys that use the exact same balls as the busy ball popper. He loves the sounds and the popping balls. They pop out one side, and slide down the ramp to the hole. He likes to stop the balls as they are rolling down. Sometimes they will pop out so fast that they don't stay on the ramp, but rather go across the floor, he tends to chase those. The only thing that I don't like about the toy is that if you put the wrong size ball inside (even just slightly larger) it will get stuck and it could ruin the toy. We avoid this...

I bought this toy for my Son who is 1 now. he loves it and plays with it all the time. Now I see it has gotten a very high rating from one of the parenting magazine (i think "Baby talk"). I think this is a great toy and look forward to sitting on the floor playing with my son and this toy for hours, or till he goes to sleep. It was well priced and easy to work with. I think the color scheme helps keep my sons interest and the balls popping up is a great reaction getter, my son loves to see the balls pop up and gets a huge smile on his face when it happens. My son loved this toy! He played with it constantly. At first he was scared of it but warmed up to it. Definatly worth purchasing. Battery life stays alive for awhile too!
The busy ball popper is a really cool toy. . does excactly how it is described. . got it for the little guy for Christmas but just really started using it at 7 months. . now that he can sit up on his own he enjoys this toy alot more.
