LockedC3 Quad Charger

I found a new Craftsman C3 19.2 volt battery charger on the website.

Quite by accident.

Imagine being able to charge up to FOUR batteries simultaneously!

I wish I could give you a model number.

But, I don't even know if I could "find" the product again on the website...

The first time was a fluke, while looking for something else.

Wow, all that and it's multi-chemistry even? Very nice option for someone who runs a lot of batteries in a short amount of time.

Yea! We've been waiting to see those come in to the store. I think we've ordered a couple online for people already.

Now I'm kind of curious, because looking at it online it says my store does have them. We haven't seen them yet though. We got done with all of our stock off yesterday's truck.... I'm starting to wonder if someone who doesn't do stock very often couldn't find them on the POG and just slipped them in the back somewhere? Now I'm kind of anxious to go to work and SNC locate them!

You should hit stock locator, WallyP. That is, if whoever might have secreted them away stock located it in the first place.

That's my worry... they may have left them on a cart of overstock that an MPU guy would have located though. I have today off though, so I have to wait 'til tomorrow.

If it don't have a hook, good luck finding it elsewhere in the store.

Took us TWO months to find them new Hinge Mortise jigs...

I guess no one else here has stumbled onto the new 19.2v one-handed recip saw and paint sprayer on the Craftsman website?

A paint sprayer?

Excellent!

The store maintenance guy could use one of them...

Is that one-handed recip saw different than the regular C3 recip saw?

So RIM says we have one of the charger, but we can't find it ANYWHERE. Go figure, it was actually in the Club flyer this month too and someone asked about it today. Now we've had at least 3 store to home sales on it.

Got any orders for the new Craftsman C3 Chainsaw yet?

That was supposed to be in the store for almost a year now.

I think if a store had just ONE, for display, there would be remote orders for more of them.

I've personally sold 4. I think as a store we sold a good 12-15 of them. There was one month in the Club flyer it was at a great deal... Our store is in a smaller market and we have a TON of regular customers we know, all of whom are in the Club. When new stuff hits the Club ad we typically sell a good amount whether it's in the store or not.

I noticed the specs on this charger say it can be mounted on the wall. Very nice space saving design. I hope the connections to the batteries are tight enough that they don't fall out randomly.

With one of these here quads...

I could charge my 1/2 inch drill/driver, my 3/8 inch drill driver, my Recip. saw and my C3 fan!

That would be so cool.

Oh, wait.

Darned!

I only got the 3 batteries...

it locks the batteries in too :-)

Not in the store, on display, yet.

Of course, I'm still using the single battery type charger that came with my Drill/Drivers.

I was going to "eventually" upgrade to the dual-charger.

Now, I'm confused...

I don't even GOT four batteries to charge, yet.

Finally got these in store. It also says it will charge all 4 batteries at once in under an hour.

Pretty impressive.

This might drive-up the sales of C3 batteries!

All it takes is one good SALE on them batteries...

And, if you get TWO quad chargers, you can charge up to EIGHT batteries and not have to walk across the workshop to get a battery!

Sorry.

Force of habit...

Would you like a spare "chuck key" with that Drill/Driver?

I have two of these. It won't charge all 4 batteries at the same time. It will charge them one at a time, moving to the next one until they are all charged. Then it maintains all 4 at one time.
