I would like to setup a power washer that will run from a portable tank with head pressure only feeding the unit. I need a machine of around 2500 psi. Any suggestions which unit I should select?

Well, one of the ratings of a Pressure Washer includes the Gallons Per Minute rating of the machine.

An average value is around 2.5 GPM.

How large is your portable tank going to be?

I run a 2000 psi Craftsman with 2 gpm flow from a hillside springhouse (actually a garbage can on a rock) with just head pressure, no problem. 2000 psi is plenty, you just don't work as fast. Try the turbo nozzle, an amazing accessory.

Madgolfer, Thanks! "Hillside springhouse", I love it.
