I have a Proform CW 380 that is 8 months old. Light use (1 hr/day). the incline control is not responding or is intermitent. Panel indication goes from 1-2, then 10, but incline does not respond. Anybody else have this problem? What was the solution?

Calling 1-800-4MY-HOME was the store's solution.

The incline is powered by a separate motor, and control board.

Hopefully, its not the control console.

The parts are a little cost-prohibitive to "just order".

So, a service call is probably the right thing to do.

Do you have a Protection Agreement?

The parts and labor will be free, if you do.

Appreciate the advice, but found the solution at http://www.treadmilldoctor.com/Incline-Calibration-Instructions.

Simple steps: hold Stop and + at the same time, attach the key, release and press Stop, at the end of the Eprom check, press incline button. The incline motor cycles up then down. When done, press Stop, then remove key. Power off and turn back on.

The incline now works like new.

Thanks

Actually, after I did the recalibration of the incline using the treadmill doctor method, I re-read the troubleshooting section of the manual. The last item "incline of the treadmill does not change correctly" has instructions on how to recalibrate the incline.
