Most Helpful Favorable Review

I've used this treadmill heavily for 4 years now, and despite some wear and tear it is still going strong. By heavily, I mean that I have run over 2,500 miles on this thing. I did have to replace the drive belt last year, which set me back $50. Also the right "crosswalk arm" broke off less than a year...

Worked for a while...

Had this treadmill for 2 years using it rarely. Then I really got into it and started using it 5 times per week for about 4 month before it started to fall apart. The monitors stopped working, the belt started slipping, etc. Of course way past warranty, so more expensive to have sears fix than to trash... read full review »

Great workout!

I walk on the treadmill daily for an hour a day.  If I didn't have so much to do, I would stay on it longer.   I have had no problems with it.

great treadmill for this price

I shopped around quite a bit and found this to be the best deal around. The box was very heavy and being a single woman - not easy to move. Assembly was easy and fast, and the crosswalk feature is a nice addition to typical treadmills. The motor seems a little strained in its highest incline when first setting, but seems to ease up after 15 seconds or so.

Great Buy

I bought this product in September of 2007. I use it 5-6 times a week and have never had a problem with it. I have since lost 40 pounds and believe I owe the greater portion of that to my treadmill, I highly recommend this pro-form product both for the stability and the great price!

Proform Crosswalk 405e

We purchased this treadmill in January of 2006. My fiance is blind, and has diabetes. Since getting the Proform, he has been able to walk several miles a day at a healthy pace which he is unable to do on the city streets due to bumps and cracks in the pavement. In January of this year, his Diabetic Doctor told him to lose 30 pounds. It is now early June and he has lost 22 pounds which he could not do with diet alone. Sears came out and performed regular service to the treadmill recently. The treadmill has about 600 miles on it, and it still operates like it was brand new. This item is an excellent... read full review »

Good for a run, but...

I've had this treadmill now for a year. I try to workout on it 3-5 times a week and the motor is still great. I also use the crosswalk arm attachments but they have a problem after longterm use. For a while they worked just fine and the workout was great. But about 6 months into ownership, they would loosen and tighten during the workout. I'd have to lean over, while running, to tighten them if they loosened up. And right before the one year mark, the metal wore down on the right arm and it snapped off. So it is a great run, but for a complete workout for the long term, look elsewhere.

Great product!

I used to belong to a fitness center and used their treadmills all the time. This treadmill is as good if not better than the ones at the fitness center. I like being able to move it anywhere I want to. I absolutely love the circuit training built into it, I use the whole body workout and it is fabulous.

Love it!

I bought the treadmill a few months ago. My sister and I put it together in two hours or so. If we can do it, anyone can! I use it a couple times a week and love it. Its really helping to keep me toned and feeling healthy. I think its slightly loud but I live in an apartment complex and it doesn't bother my neighbor or timid cat so it must not be that bad. One downside is that you cannot see the incline in which you're using. To anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced treadmill, I would definitely recommend this one. It may not have all the bells and whistles of other treadmills but it also... read full review »

treadmill

I purchased a treadmill a month ago . It does not take much space because it can be folded up and stored in a closet or corner. You can walk, run or jog at your own pace . The settings of the controls are easy to choose and understand. It has improved my overall fitness and I love it. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to stay fit and does not have time to go to the gym.

Good For Light/Medium Duty Workouts

For the price paid this is not a bad treadmill. Sears had it on special for $349. Assembly takes about 1 hour and it is helpful to have a 2nd person assist. I assembled by myself but would not recommend this. The treadmill works great at speeds over 2.2mph. My wife who had never worked out on a treadmill wanted to start slow. Below 2.2mph the motor surges. It seems to run at 2.2mph and randomly will slow to 2.0 or less mph. At 2.5 to 3.5 it works fine. The motor is not loud. Moving takes muscle because the way the wheels and frame are designed. You have to pick up on the unit to get it to roll... read full review »

Just the beginning

I bought this treadmill approximately one month ago and I love it! It was simple for my husband to put together. It folds up and fits nicely against the wall in my office. For anyone like me (age 47) who is just becoming seriously health-conscious, this machine is an excellent beginning. If you have been apprehensive about operating fitness equipment in the past, this machine is non-threatening to operate. I like the pulse sensor to monitor my heart rate, the program choices, and I love the upper body arm feature. One day I'll graduate and purchase the "bigger stuff", but for now if you're just... read full review »

Avg. Product for a Decent Price

I purchased this about 4 weeks ago. It is exactly what you pay for. Affordable and some what durable. Although i did have a problem with it. The belt started to shift to the left with usage which caused the belt to scratch but it was a adjusted easily. It was also very heavy to carry around ( no excuse). Assembly was simple if you have something like this before or else you can be left scratching your head. It has some good features and is easy to use. the hand bar is also very useful. Gives you a complete workout. Finally, you get what you pay for.

Treadmill

I purchased the treadmill a year ago. It wasn't difficult to put together, it has stayed in excellent condition through two moves, and it has helped improve my overall fitness. What I love most about the treadmill is that it can be folded up and stored in any corner or even in the closet. It is hassle free and easy to move around. The track is perfectly wide enough so that you are able to walk, run, or jog. The easy push settings help to control the speed of the treadmill. I love it!
