Happy with my choice!

I have recently purchased my Proform bike after researching them for about a month. Being a novice, I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money, but I didn't want the cheapest one out there, either. I actually went to Sears with the intention of buying the Schwinn model priced about 150.00 higher than... read full review »

A Serious Problem On Proform Bike XP 100 R

The Proform XP Exercises Bike XP 100 R has a serious flaw. To change the distance of the seat to the peddles, you loosen a knob and slide the seat back or forward on a bar. Then you tighten the knob to fix the distance. However, no one I know can tighten the knob enough by hand to keep the seat from... read full review »

Overall Very Happy

This is a very good exercise bike for the money. I got it on sale for $199 which was half the retail price. I'm a big man, 6'1" and 275 pounds, and it fits me well and would accommodate someone much larger. There is still a lot of adjustment left in either direction. My wife is 5'4" and it can also be adjusted to fit her perfectly as well. If you take your time and tighten everything down good during assembly it is a very stable bike. It feels very sturdy for someone heavy like me. There are lots of things that I like about this bike. It is very quite. You can hardly hear any noises at all. The... read full review »

5 stars

This is the first cycle I have purchased, so I don't have others to compare it to. I did research several models and this one was the best for the money ( I paid $199 on sale). It has certainly impressed me so far as to the variety of exercise levels and built in training programs. It is extremely quiet, and is also very comfortable, with it having a full seatback. The " put together time" was just under 1 1/2 hours, and directions were very descriptive. I think for the initial investment, and short time of owning it, ( I have had it a week), I could not ask for a better bike to add to my exercise... read full review »

Great Product

Just purchased the Proform 110 R. This is well built and works great. Took about an hour to assemble. Comes in a small box that would easily fit in most vehichles. The resistance feels good and this comes with several programs to work out to. You will need to purchase four D cell batteries. As far as the post before me complaining about the chair sliding, it is not true. There are holes along the bottom rail for the pin to lock into. Not sure if theirs was defective. I would recommend this cycle to anyone. I got mine on sale, well worth it. Good Luck.

Nice bike

I just bought this bike and I'm pretty happy with it. I got it half price which is always a plus and the box was small enough to fit in the car so I didn't have to pay for shipping. The assembly went pretty smoothly. I wasn't missing any pieces as some other reviewers were, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The bike is extremely quiet even with the built in fan on so it's easy to watch TV while riding and great for those of us who live in apartments. There are only two problems I've had with the bike. First, the heart monitor doesn't seem to work properly. I was getting numbers... read full review »

Sale Price $199.99 made this a 5

Glad I read the previous reviews, I got a Toyota Corolla and it fit in the back seat. Then went and picked up 4 D size batteries before I got home. Putting it together wasn't bad except for the 4 screws that hook the two main pieces together.. that was kind of a pain.. Also it says you can preattach the screws for the Seat and then tighten, NOT TRUE... Also the two screws right underneath the handles are hard to tighten with the handles already attached.. Recommend attaching the Seat before you put the handles on... Once I got it together, I checked the seat and and it felt a little wobblie,... read full review »

I've only had this bike for about a month and I love it! It has had only one minor problem which was a sensor had come loose from the console and they had to send someone to hook it back up. Other than that I've had no problems and it pedals smoothly. I love that the back of the seat is so high, it gives great comfort to your workout. I also enjoy all the different trainer options, most don't come with as many as this for the price. Plus you get the hand weights and this really gets your whole body involved and I love that!! This seems to be a great purchase so far.

Don't buy

I have had 3 of these since the first of the year. Got the first one in January and had it 3 weeks and the bearings went out. They sent me another one and had to put it together again, and it worked great of 6 weeks and the bearings went out again. So they sent me another one and opened the box and the side shields were broken. Called and they are sending me new sides. I thought I would go ahead and put the bike together AGAIN, got on to give it a try and only one tension setting works. So I am just going to get my money back and buy a different brand. The bike road good and was really comfortable... read full review »

Very Nice Exercise Bike

I wanted to find a bike that I could use easily but worked well and this bike fit the bill. I like the workout routines that are built into it and it is really helping me keep going and lose weight. I like the fan and the computer routines. The bike went together easily. It does seem to wobble a little bit when pedaling but still seems sturdy. The plastic pieces seem loose and weak but there is a sturdy metal frame underneath. It works well and I can get exercise and watch TV at the same time.

Good.

I purchased this when it was on sale, i got a GREAT deal on it. I took it home, and my father set this up for me. i didnt want to pay to have someone do what we could do for free. anyways, this product is great, although you will need 6 D batteries which nobody told me so I had to go out and buy some but, thats alright. After everything was assembled, the frame is wobbly. One side is higher than the other so it rocks a little bit. It's not that big of a deal to me, I can live with it.

This Bike is AWESOME!

I would totally recommend this bike to anyone looking for a recumbent bike! The seat is extremely comfortable which is a big plus! The settings are easy to use and overall is user friendly! The price is great too compared with other bikes that have similar features!

Been great for me!

I love this bike. It supports my back which is important as I suffer from a bad bike. It lets me know calories and miles which I rely on. I like keeping track of things like that while riding. Great

great value on exercise bike

I have owned this bike for 4 months without any problems. It is comfortable to use and was easy to put together. My whole family is using this product. Even my husband who has back problems can use this exercise bike without problems.

The price is right...

I bought this bike on sale for $299 and feel like I got a great value. The only cons were that it was missing a grease packet for the seat and that I had to have a service call right away since I couldn't attach the pedals tight enough. I ended up getting the 4-5 year warrany for an additional $100, so just in case, they will always come out and fix any issues and if they can't fix it will fully replace my bike. I have now had this bike for 4 months and I'm enjoying all the resistance levels wich are much better than some of the cheaper models available. Overall I feel that this was a great purchase... read full review »
