I walk every day and my knees do not bother me as with my old treadmill.  I love it!

I ENJOYED IT TO THE HIGHEST!!!!!!!!!!!

The proform XP treadmill is very comfortable to walk on and to use.  I keep it in my family room where I can watch my big screen TV while exercising on it.  It lets up in an upright, standing position when not in use and allows more living space in the room.  It has been repaired once...the repairman came out the next couple of days after being called.  I have not had any more trouble with it. It is a great machine.

Great quality, good value

I just purchased this treadmill a few months ago and have no real complaints. I do agree with previous reviews about the placement of the fan. I'm 5'6" and the breeze from the fan goes completely over my head unless on I'm on an incline, but I knew about this going in. I bought this on sale, so I thought it was a great value for the quality. It really does seem comparable to a commercial quality treadmill. One thing that caught me off guard was that it was advertised as a "space saver". Yes, this does fold in half, but it is quite large and very heavy. (so don't plan on using it and then "stowing... read full review »

Great treadmill

I bought this two weeks ago on clearance for $499.00. I was looking at the Crosswalk for $399, but the 680 is so quiet, I couldn't believe it and decided to go the extra $. I am glad I did. The shock absorbers make it the most comfortable treadmill I have ever used. Previously, I used only fitness center treadmills--the big, very expensive ones, and I like the Proform 680 so much more because it is quieter and more comfortable. Viewing calories, distance, etc. is an obvious asset. The only thing that does not work well for me is the angle of the fan. I am only 5' tall and it blows over my... read full review »

You'll be satisfied

I bought this treadmill 2 weeks ago and have loved using it. After reading around about the different brands, I learned that proform has more bang for its buck. It's easy to assemble (with my hubby) and works beautifully. I love all of the displays: heart rate, calories burned, carbs burned, distance, time, etc. The different types of programs with the different percents of inclination help to keep a variety in exercising. Don't buy it for the fan. I'm 5'7" and it blows over my head as well. The fan's a good idea but not useful at all.

5 stars

My husband and I decided it was time to get in shape. We wanted a high quality machine that wouldn't require us to take out a second mortgage. ;) The Proform 680 was perfect. It gives us the durability we need for his running and the smooth glide for my walking. The only problems I have with mine are that the speed up and down buttons aren't easy to push and get a result and the heart rate monitor rarely works. I also would have like some pre-programmed workouts that don't require either jogging, which I don't do, or extreme hill climbing, which is hard on my knees. But it's definitely been a great... read full review »

Just what we were looking for

This was what we wanted to do some walking and light runs at any time. It took a bit to set up but once setup it works great and folds up nicely.

JUNK

I only had the treadmill for 3 months 13 days and the walking platform snapped in half. I only weigh 185 pounds, and I believe it is rated at 300. Anyways, like I said junk.

remarkably pleased

I have always loved to run, as a form of exercise, but I also suffer from a prior knee injury and subsequent surgeries. Before purchasing the ProForm 680, I felt hobbled because the stress on my knees resulting from road running was too severe and the pain too intense. With the ProForm's ProShox I have been able run at a sustained pace for up to an hour without experiencing the pain and discomfort which had kept me from regular exercise. Any product that can get me off the couch and back to the exercise I so enjoy deserves my high recommendation.
