Great and sturdy !

There was some guessing involved during assembly because the instructions were not always clear. One example, they mention that a mallet is needed but never tell you when to use it. And, some pieces fit in place upside down. So you don't know you've done it incorrectly till later when trying to fit another... read full review »

Most Helpful Critical Review

We bought the Proform 620 treadmill at Sears 24 months ago.  It has been lightly used - just 123 hours, 425 miles according to its internal computer.  Normal use for a home treadmill is about an hour a day.  By that reckoning we have had only about 4 months' usual use from it.

Seven weeks ago the...

Great treadmill, easy to use.

Purchased this treadmill for my wife and she actually uses it!  Controls are simple and programmed workouts are easy to figure out.

Junk Junk Junk

I have owned this about 11 months now. About 400 miles so far, so not too much. The motor has been replaced twice, the power supply board has been replaced once. The motor belt was replaced once. The service guy has been to my house three times so far. After his last visit, a couple weeks ago, something was slipping - either the tread belt or the motor belt. I finally was able to tighten the motor belt and now it seems OK. The programs available are just OK. I wish that you could take one of the existing programs and bump the entire program up or down, but you can't. You can only bump up/down... read full review »

Nice, high quality treadmill

This has been a great treadmill for us. It's a heavy-duty one, able to accomodate my husband who is over 250 lbs, and the price was great. The treadmill works well, operates smoothly and isn't too loud. I like the fact that the deck folds upward and locks into place for storage so that the entire unit takes up less room. I found assembly to be a little tricky, but not too bad. It took me about 3 1/2 hours to do it by myself. However, I needed another set of hands from my young daughter a couple of times, to hold a piece in place while I secured it. The only criticism I have is that there is really... read full review »

Must Buy

I bought my ProForm 620 and absolutely LOVE IT. You have so many options with this model. As for motor noise - it is very good - you really can't hear it in the other rooms when you are working out nor does is drown out the music you are listening to. I highly recommend this product. I am very satisfied and glad I made the purchase.

Worth every penny!!!

I would have to say that this treadmill is an outstanding piece of equipment for any casual user. I will have to agree with many of the other reviewers in that it is extremely heavy!!! While two people putting it together would have been nice, I managed to complete it in about an hour. The features are nice and it is very quiet. I live in an apartment so noise is a big issue. At $499 this treadmill was quite a bargain. Sears has bargains on fitness equipment quite often so keep checking back daily and you should be able to get a great deal on this.

5 stars

I recently purchased this treadmill and I am extremely happy with it so far. It is a great value for $499 and is ideal for my needs. I am a fast walker and it performs well for these speeds. I wouldn't say it is built for the avid runner and after researching on-line before my purchase, I would say if your a runner you would be better off purchasing a more expensive treadmill. It is a great size and is very sturdy. It did take some time to put together and two people were required but the directions were good and all the pieces fit as described, some with a little more effort, it wasn't nearly... read full review »

Excellent Value

This is an excellent treadmill for the money. Can you buy a better one?....sure! But you will not find a better one for this much $$. Plus for $150. the 5 year"bumper to bumper" warranty protects you from any problems. It took my wife and I under 2hrs. to put it together and we are both really enjoying it. Plus it went on sale for $499. and I went back to Sears and got a credit!

Proform 620 XP

I purchased this treadmill about 5 weeks ago. It was easy enough to put together with two people. As mentioned it is very heavy (which is good) so have some people available to help move it. I love it. I have lost over 10 pounds just using it about 30 minutes a day. It is fairly quiet so I can watch TV while working out with no problem. I think it is well worth the money and would recommend it for anyone that doesn't want to pay a bundle for a decent treadmill. I do intervals of walking and running on it. I am 5'2" so it is long enough for me to run. May be too short for a taller person to run... read full review »

Great Treadmill

I have had this treadmill for about 6 weeks now and I love it. I can plug my mp3 player into the speakers and listen without my head phones and it charges my mp3 player while I run. The treadmill did take about 2 long hours with 2 people working to put it together, but other then that it has been great and between my husband and myself we have used it over 45 hours in 6 weeks with out a single problem. Great treadmill for the price!

Excellent Product

I bought this treadmill after reading the reviews here. I bought it for $499, which seems to be a common sale price for Sears. I have been using it for almost two weeks and there are two of us running on it nearly every day. It took 2 of us about 1.5 hours or less to build it and the instructions were pretty reasonable (13 medium-long steps). It is heavy, so I recommend two people to lift. I love this treadmill. For the price, it is fantastic and I would say it's probably worth more than I paid. The weight loss workouts are great. They're random and ensure you burn a certain number of calories.... read full review »

Great product

Don't need to spend a lot of money for a good machine. This is a great equipment for people who want to lost weight. For me, it takes 1.5 hours to put everything together, but it missing some screws otherwise it's easy to put together. I am using this machine for two weeks, and nothing wrong with it.

ProForm 620

I am very happy with my ProForm. It took my son and I about 2 1/2 hours to put together. Follow the directions. I bought the ProForm XP 620 because it had a 2.75hp motor. One of the biggest on the market in this range of treadmills. It has worked wonderfullly. I am 220lbs and I can walk on it, jog, or run. I have lost 12lbs in 6 weeks. My wife and I use it daily. You can hear the motor running but I just wear a headset, or watch tv while using it. Well worth the investment so far. Get the 5 year warranty. They will come to you and service the treadmill. The price of the treadmill and the warranty... read full review »

Awesome!!!

I have had my old treadmill for 12 years and decided that it was time to replace it. I bought this ProForm 620 and I can not complain. I bought it over the weekend and my 16 year put it together in about 1 hour. After it was up, my husband, son and I wanted to work out first. We are absolutely pleased. The belt is quiet and we can listen to music while getting a good work out. I am hurting today because I did not want to get off of it!!
