I requested and received this storage set as a gift, and I love it. The set includes a range of sizes, but none are too big, so the containers are easy to stack and see in the refrigerator.
Because the lids seal well without leaks and the containers are microwaveable, I like to use the smaller containers from this set for taking lunch to work. They are easier to clean and sturdier than plastic storage, and more appropriate than plastic for use in a microwave. The set (including lids--top rack) has stood up well to frequent cleaning in my dishwasher.
We love pyrex! recently, we decided to get rid of all plastics and got this set! I love it! The price is very reasonable... Even beats ********* price on similar items. Also, it is not heavy.... However, I wish there would a 2-cup round bowl instead of two 1-cup round bowls... Well, for this price, it is a steal!

read full review »In my house we use this storage set practically every day. It comes in handy for storing extra food. I prefer glass to plastic when storing food, because it seems to be better preserved. I really appreciate the products from Pyrex. Everything they make is good quality.

Love the fact that pyrex dishes are glass based, not plastic, which has caused so much uproar in the past couple of years. The dishes can go into the oven or dishwasher. I don't have to worry about fat from dishes I cook leaching into the glass! Pyrex is stylish and durable.
This 10 piece set is perfect for everyday use. It's great to have a set of microwave and oven safe dishes. I am happy and my refrigerator seems much more organized now.
These are staples in any kitchen. I would recommend purchasing these if you are just starting out and stocking your kitchen or have been a cook for years. They make baking and storage so easy and convenient.
The smaller square container is perfect for a sandwich and chips... I use these containers for freezing and reheating in the microwave. They are fantastic for this purpose and easy to clean afterwards.

I love the Pryrex Bowl set. I use them on a daily basis. I cook and store with the same bowl. I would not have known about them it is was from my grandma. That is what she uses. I think my whole family uses the. I have the whole collection(mixing bowls cook wear measuring cups). I know i used to dirty so many dishes cooking. I'd have the mixing bowl's then the cook ware then the tuppaware. I love them and i would not change what I use for anything.
