I've been a Rainbow user since 1988, starting with a refurbished model, and totally amazed at how well it picked up the deeper dirt from the carpets of rental units. Finally purchased my very own new unit with all attachments and shampooer and couldn't believe how much cleaner my carpets looked after being really vacuumed by such an excellent system. When all kids were out of the house and we downsized, I splurged and purchased a new Series E Rainbow Cleaning System and even though I take what it can do for granted, my appreciation for Rainbow's quality product is still intact.

read full review »My Great Aunt had an ancient Rainbow back in the 60's. She passed away in the mid 70's, but another family member still uses that old Rainbow and it works perfectly.
15 years ago, we moved into our brand new house. Within 3 months, I was convinced our builder had used cheap carpet that already needed to be replaced. Just by chance, I had dropped my name off at the Rainbow display at a local home show, and when the salesman called, we invited him over. We purchased a Rainbow Vacuum System three years ago. It was the best vacuum we could of ever baught. To set it up you unclamp the two side clamps and lift the top off you then take out the water tank and fill it with clean water from the faucet. Once you put water in, you can add the expensive fragrences that the Rainbow company sells or just use vanilla extract or anyother flavored extract to the water depending on what fragrence you perfer. It fills the rooms with such a lovely scent.. We vacuum daily as we have four dogs and and six kids. It is so gross to see how much the vaccumm...
