I bought this as a Christmas present for my 7 yr old son. After about an hour he was able to handle it fine. I don't see this being a good product for 12 and older as it does not seem to have enough power if the rider is over 100lbs. Battery does not hold a charge the first few times. I found it to last...

Scooter can not go up slight hill without turing off. Have to hit reset button too often. Also makes loud squeeking noise in rear. We will be returning it.
good power very fun to ride. im 220 pounds and it can tote me around for 45 mins.
MY SON IS 8 YEARS OLD AND CAN HANDLE IT GREAT. I AM 27 AND IT IS FUN. IT IS DURRABLE. VERY EASY TO USE. I RECOMMEND IT!
