This wing is great for number of reasons. It is sturdy, it held me at 220 lbs. I have a daughter who has motor skills that are little below average for her age group and does not do well on the typical scooter. She got on this and took off like a shot! It is stable, cornering is easy and FUN. She has chatted about the experience often since her test ride and it is on the top of her Christmas wish list.
As an adult I felt the handle bars did not have a good height to them, even extended out, but for most kids it should be just fine.

I bought the Power Wing for my 8 yr old son for Christmas. It seems like alot of fun, although he's still trying to get the hang of it. It's definitely sturdy, I hopped on it myself to see how it worked. The neighbors loved that one! I think, with a little more practice he'll do great!! I shopped on line and in a few stores, Sears had the best price overall.
Our children (10 years old and 14 years old) have both loved the Power Wing. They enjoy spinning on it and just riding it around the neighborhood. A great gift for children of all ages.
My 10 year old son hopped on one of these in a sporting goods store and rode like a pro! He hasn't stopped riding it since Christmas, leaving behind his regular razor scooter and his beloved BIKE!
Sears had the best price with free shipping and fast delivery time, including emailing me to inform me when item would arrive.
