Craftsman YTS 4500
Well, went looking around for lawn tractors, and ended up getting this one.
Wanted good horsepower, lots of attachments, and decent support. Local Sears hardware store had this one as a floor model, and they were willing to deal a bit. Got the 3-bagger and the snow blade at the same time.
Sears pretty much delivered as promised. Just got done mowing the lawn and picking up leaves (it's fall in New England).
Initial impressions: powerful engine, good build quality, controls are bit of a learning curve, nice job on my unruly and damp lawn, bagger is wonderful, has good power and traction up...

Craftsman YT 3000 21 HP/46" Yard Tractor
I've only used the tractor twice but my initial impression is favorable. Compared to my older Craftsman tractor, it has plenty of power, cuts level and has a comfortable seat. The hydrostatic transmission is very nice. I really like how accurately I can control the speed both backwards and forward. So far so good.
I was somewhat surprised (and disappointed) with my Sears store. I bought the tractor as a clearance item and asked that they deliver it to my home. They said as a clearance item that I'm responsible for getting it delivered. I was shocked when they said they didn't...

Craftsman LTS 1500 17.5 HP/42" Lawn Tractor
We purchased this tractor in the spring on 09 to replace a worn out 12 year old similar tractor of a different make. After a season of use on our med lawn and also on our 1 acre farm plot we are impressed with the tractor's performance.
When we first got the tractor, one rear tire always needed air, this was due to a porous weld in the wheel and was replaced by sears. But not before an agravating call to sears call center that seemed to be someone in India or at least with someone that english is not their first language.
We did purchase the extended warranty and hope for a better experience...

Craftsman YT 4500 26 HP 54" Yard Tractor
Most of the people who write reviews on here havnt waited till maintenence is due, well I did. What a nightmare, the local stores do not stock parts and the only service center in the state close, we live in Maine. Called in the parts order and half never showed up after a month waiting on 3 dif filters oil, air and fuel. Called the service line and my order was returned without ever even showing up to my door pretty amazing how that happened, no one knew how or why, nice to know never even recieved a phone call nothing. So after fighting with them for an hour the guy finally re-billed me...
