I bought 10 of these a few years back and gave them as Christmas gifts. I have been searching everywhere to get a few more. I'm in dire need of one right now for a friend, and the reason I love this item so much is it is EXCELLENT not only in the kitchen but for cutting pills. It is the only and the best thing I have found for cutting a pill expertly in half, not crumble or anything. It works 100% better than any pill cutter I have tried. It's amazing!
The Clever Cutter makes chopping veggies a breeze, I even cut up smoked salt pork with it!
I bought this 'gadget' almost five years ago and it's still going strong! It is one of the handiest kitchen tools I've ever used. When I saw it in the store, I didn't know what the heck it was. Then the sales lady showed me and I bought it. I've been using it ever since. In fact, I just ordered another one for my sister.
I used it mostly for slicing vegetables but you can use it on a host of foods.
