Roomba Discovery Robotic Floorvac, Silver — 

I love my Roomba. We have 2 cats and labrador. With all three of them we have pet hair everywhere!! This vacuum is a wonderful additition to the family. It doesn't seem to have any trouble getting around the house, regardless of what kind of floor it's on (various heights of carpet, hard wood or tile). And you can see marks in the carpet after it has vacuumed. I would never throw away my upright vacuum, because I believe it may work a little bit better than the Roomba, but I am not a big fan of vacuuming so being able to turn on the Roomba and focus my attention on something else is great. It definately allows us to attempt to keep up with all of the pet hair on the floors.
