Two months ago, I purchased a 5 cu.ft Chest Freezer on line from Sears. It had a problem with condensation collecting at the rear and the seal was not sealing so it was freezing and not closing apparently. I contacted Sears, they sent a repairmen and he looks at it, contacted his supervisor, which the supervisor said it could not be fixed, due to those Freezers should not be sold, due to they were manufactured in China, and they have no way of contacting this company, so they have quit selling, well no they continue to sell that model.

read full review »My mom has always used the canister vacuums from Sears, We have tried various different ones over the years, nothing comes close to the Kenmore canister vacuums!! I am 50 years old have owned only Kenmore vacuums, I am on my third one in 25 years!! Who can say that of another brand!! there is no better!!
Rented the Rug Doctor, Had a coupon , they honored that, was asked by manager how .great service every time I have gone to shop .
I took the model # of the replacement spool for my sears weedwacker. I bought 3 while I was there. When I got home, and the lawncare person arrived is when we found out that they were the wrong ones. Since I had to pay him for his time for coming over & nothing got done I was rather upset. Usually when something like this happens the store clerk will say, "oh it's no problem, just bring it in & we'll exchange it." read full review »I just purchased a new Kenmore HE3t front loading washer from the Sears Appliance store in Milford, OH. I just want to say that the Sales Representative was very nice, informative and professional. He definitely was a plus in helping me purchase the washer that will be right for my family. The washer gets delivered Nov 20, 2009. I'll have to get back to you on how I feel about the actual performance of the appliance. Talk to you in a week,,,,,,,,,,,,,I'm excited!
Found what I needed....check out was slow
A relative and I were looking for some paint to finish a room at a reasonable price. After shopping around, Will in the Chelmsford store spent at least a half hour figuring out via the computer what paint and color combination would match the best to the color we needed. Not only did he match it wonderfully, he also gave it to us at the sale price, which he didn't have to do. He also did it with a smile and a great sense of humor which, as well all know, is vital in the service industry. Danielle also did a nice job at the register for us. We will be back!
Wife took measurement's of washer and dryer area to store. Lady sales person sold her a washer and dryer that did not fit in space. Husband (me) had to cut out wall so outside door could be opened past dryer.I had to purchase new vent connection because dryer came with a 90 elbow I needed a straight not all dryers are vented up,down,right or left. Deliverymen stated that I could take the 90 el to any searshardware and they would replace it with a straight connection WRONG manager (tim) says we don't carry that part you'll have to go to ********** and buy one.
We could have returned the washer...

I was looking for a Single Heater for my propane heater tank, and the salesman on the floor was very helpful in explaining the item to me. It was on sale which helped me to determine that I was going to purchase the heater, but as I was checking out, the salesgirl asked me if I belonged to the Crafsman Club, which I do, and she gave me an additional discount.
