When I first bought this potty for my daughter is was just a quick pick from the store. When I got it home and set it up I thought it was great. It has a soft seat and can be used as a step stool. Its small and the color is nice. You can get green or pink. We actually went out and bought another one...

I like this seat because I can have my on use it on & off the big toilet & the step-stool part of it is very sturdy.  The seat though is hard to clean because I have 2 boys (one being trained & the other I'll start fully training next year, probably) & the urine goes under the seat & soaks into the...

Safety 1st Child Care Potty, Comfy Cushy, 3-in... Reviews

We bought this potty because we liked the 3-in-1 use for it.  My daughter actually started using it at 1 year, on-and-off, and likes to sit on it regardless of whether she has to go potty or not.

She also loves to stand on her "stool" when she washes her hands and brushes her teeth.

We have not used the third part of it yet, but I imagine she will like that as well.  =)

In reference to the many parts some other reviews mentioned, once put together, there are three parts.  The base with an attached cover, the inside tub, and the cushy top.  I like that it has this many parts, because it is...

OK so it was potty training time.  We thought it would be nice for an easy access potty chair for our toddler.  This one is GREAT! It has a soft seat, and you can convert it to a topper for your regular potty.  Now all we need is the potty trained toddler! :)

We bought this for my son, and it worked ok for us.  I did not like all the pieces to it, makes it too hard and time consuming to clean.  It is simple, no music, so it didn't distract my son from the actualy purpose of the potty, to pee.  I do like that it has the stool part. For us we would just shut the lid, so guests don't have to see the actual potty part...

2 stars

I bought this potty chair for my daughter. She used it with no hesitation and no problems. I am also a home daycare provider and when it was used for the little boys it began to smell like urine. I washed it with bleach numerous times but nothing worked. The ring made my whole house smell like urine. The soft ring has also started to bubble. Worked great for my little girl but, not for the boys.

I have the pink one I picked up for free from craigslist minus the cushy seat, and even without the cushy seat there are 3 parts which is totally unesesary. I have a safety first non cushy seat potty for my other bathroom and it has 3 parts total, and no urine leaks, but I don't like it all too much either. The 2 parts that coincide pinch my daughters legs. Cushy definately is better no matter what! I also have a cushy blues clues potty seat that goes atop the big potty ..I love that one the best!

We LOVE this Potty Seat/Chair

It's great for little boys...mine disliked the other potties cups to prevent spray...after 3 other potty chairs...this one was just right! Not only is it nice & cushy on the bottom, it's diverse enough to go from the self contained potty chair to the big toilet in stages. Its also great for girls, all you do is flip the cushion seat. One thing that is a little downfall, the tinkle tends to spray in the cup area/gets under the cushion. But you need to dump it anyways, so I just simply rinse it off/wipe with a wipe and we're ready for our next potty visit.

Not happy with potty....

I bought this potty for our son about 3 months ago and just about a month ago he started to use it. What I dont like is that the cushy seat soaks up the urine smell cause for boys when they urinate its gets under the seat a little and it wont come out, no matter what you clean it with. Sure you think its nice for their little behinds, but Now when we lift the lid to use it I smell it and we need to get a different potty I recommend one with a plastic seat. A couple things I do like it that its durable and that its a good step stool.

Cushy Potty Chairs

The potty is sturdy, but the urine runs under that cushy padded seat. I need to pull up the seat and clean the urine. The children seem to sit on it easier, but the clean-up is a hassle.

Bad guard

This potty was nice except the guard for a boy rips easy, so we have to buy a new potty now. And when it's hot his butt sticks to the seat.

good potty

This potty with the guard can be used for boys and girls. The only drawback is when little boys go, sometimes urine ends up under the squishy foam and leads to more cleaning for moms. It is a sturdy potty and stool for toddlers.

This potty does what it says!

I didn't believe that this potty would be as sturdy as the ad claimed, but it has not fallen over even with my toddler granddaughter pushing it and leaning on it. She likes to sit on the trainer with the lid down when I am in the bathroom, sometimes reading a book. I am very pleased with this product.

My daughter got this potty for her birthday, and we loved the fact that it is a standalone potty, step stool, and booster.  Unfortunately our daughter absolutely hates it and refuses to use it.  She uses other potty chairs without any issues, but she hates this one.  I finally discovered it's because the two times she did use it the cushioned seat caused pee to run everywhere.  She is small compared to most toddlers, but she has extra chunky thighs.  If she tries to poop the seat squishes her chunky legs together, and she has a hard time going.

Our friend's daughter has the same problem with...
