“Not for Climbers”

I brought this gate to put at the bottom of my stairs. This is a sturdy gate and very easy to mount to wall. “A great gate to go!”

I am on the go a lot and I love the Safety 1st Lift & Lock Security Gate! It works on every door I have ever tried. Keeps the kids I need in the room in and my friends dogs out! We use this gate a lot when we are traveling because it snaps into place and does not require any perminent attacments. This is not a gate I use for stairs because after using it for a while a toddler can push it down. It is also not a gate I use in an area where I need to go in and out all the time. “Great Product gets the job done right”

I watch my neices daughter who is just about 2yrs. old, and she is a child who likes to climb and has no fear, this gate is great, the lock never has come undone, and it is durable and sturdy.

“Amazing”

My daughter is 9 1/2 months old and loves to pull up on things and shake things and this gate holds up to that. Not even my husband can knock it over. Very sturdy and not a bad price either. I highly recommend this gate!!

“great gate but........”

i just want to say that this gate is AMAZINGLY sturdy! My very good friend and I have 2 kids a piece ages 8,2,15months,8 months.....we live in the same apartments complex, right next door to eachother on an upstairs apt so we share a huge front patio with a stair case attached we put the gate there so the kids cant fall down the stairs. the only problem i have with the gate is that it did not clearly state that in order to use the swinging gate method you HAVE to screw it in to the side of the stiarcase or doorway.......we thought u could use the swing part either way and were planning on leaving... read full review »

“Great Gate!”

Finally I've found a gate that works! I have gone through 3 other different gates since having my 18 month old son, and he could pull them down or move them, but not this gate. It is very easy to use, sturdy, and stays in place! Great Gate!

“Easy to use”

This is the best gate I have ever bought. I have bought four gates for my son and puppy. This was the easiest to use and there was no setup, just put in place and lock. I highly recommend this gate.

“Good but wont last years”

This gate is easy to use and put up but its not that durable when it comes to kids trying to jump over it, climb over it or push it over like older babies and kids do. If you plan on having more then one child I would recommend a metal gate not a plastic on

“I have 3 of these gates at home”

They work great for making sure your little ones don't get in to rooms or areas they shouldn't. They are easy to lock and un lock for adults but basicly impossible for the child to do so. They hold up well and allow me to have peice of mind about my child being safe,
