It's been about 3 months since I first bought this product and in my opinion, I think that this camera is amazing. The quality of the pixels are great- clear, just as shown on the ratings, this is extremely easy to use. But I feel that the Digimax has a somewhat "okay" battery life (ex: i charged it over a full night once and it only lasted about two hours.) Besides that, i would recommend this product to friends.
This camera is by far the best camera on the market for the price. You cannot find a 10mp camera for a better price. My wife and I are very pleased to have found this camera. We are pretty active boaters and travelers so a high quality camera is a great find. It is also the perfect size for us to put it a pocket or carry around. It takes up little or no space. The pictures are very high quality and the prints look great. It is also very easy to use. All the features are readily accessible. This camera, for the price, is of exceptional quality!!
Takes great indoor pictures in relatively poor lighting (much better than most comparable-priced cameras); overall excellent resolution, good size and weight, great ease of use.
Any of these types of cameras use batteries fairly quickly, especially if used in movie mode; however, it works very well for me to always carry an extra set of batteries in my camera bag.
I bought this camera because I have to young children and my last camera stopped working. It was a blessing because this camera is so much nicer! I am getting some great shots of the kids that I always missed with the old one. I love that I can take pictures in black and white and I especially like that I can crop and save pictures through the camera instead of through a computer program. It's also great for capturing moments like my daughter rolling over for the first time! Now not only will I have the picture but also a little video clip to send to grandparents! I could go on and on...I love...

I am very satisfied with this camera. It takes great pictures and after playing with it for a few hours it is very easy to use. This size of the LCD screen is a plus. Snapshots appear to be professionally taken and the special effects such as the Black and White option is really neat. I do recommend using rechargeable batteries I went through 4 sets of batteries just learning the camera . I always keep two extra sets in my camera bag, but in my experience, the battery life isn't unlike any other digital camera.
I got this camera and very happy with it so far.The most outstanding about this camera is Video capacity.I was able to record 2 hours of video on a near half full 1 GB SD card.A true compact replacement for Camcorder on the move right out of your pocket.The video is quite good.Get a good pair of rechargeable AA batteries and a compact charger(car adapter) then you are set for any condition.
I really like this camera. Has a lot of features and options, so it is sort of complicated to figure out at first. Once you get used to it, it is a fun camera to operate. Takes great pictures. Love the movie clips, allows you to pause and resume recording, unlike the other camera I owned. The quality of the movie clips is good. Not jerky looking like the lower resolution camera I owned. The LCD monitor is big, making the pictures easy to see. Definitely recommend this camera to people. Great price.
This was not the camera I first set eyes on, but I'm glad the over camera was sold out. This camera was a gift to me and I'm so glad my boyfriend got me this camera, it's great and you can even record a video for up to four hours. WOW I love it! I recommend this camera you will enjoy it and it's many great features.
The Samsung Digimax S1000 is an excellent value. I am familiar with other, more expensive cameras at my workplace and they cannot compare in overall value. The camera and its features are easy to use. The 10.1 megapixel resolution is amazing and makes snapshots appear to be professionally taken. The only drawback is battery life. I would recommend purchasing rechargeable batteries. You will not be disappointed.

Great resolution for the price. The battery life is as with any digital camera, so be smart and get some rechargeable ones. Its easy to use and has lots of effects. The video quality is super. All in all its a good buy.
Purchased a Samsung 7.1 camera for my son at Christmas and he was very pleased with the quality and ease of picture taking. This was an excellent deal and is fairly easy to get used to. The is our first digital camera we have owned and like the size and ease of use, but it will take a little time to get to know how to use all the features. From the reviews of others we purchased Sony Ni-Mh rechargable batteries and would recommend that as standard practice for anyone that will be using a digital camera that uses a lot of power. Very easy to recharge the batteries and they are the "smart" type....

because of the screen an it being used it uses a lot of the battery power as if it were to be able to be turned off an looke through a view finder. so batteries dont last really long but they do last a good while. in video mode though the life is sucked right of out the batteries.. other then that this camera is the best price, most mp, easy to use then any other camera i have ever used. after having mine for 6 months for christmas i went out an bought 5 more for my sisters and parents. an they love it as well.
