I haven't had it long enough to say whether it's reliable but I like it enough already. The fridge on top is a great feature I've never had. The controls are futuristic and minimalist. The ice maker is a bit small but I haven't had any parties to truly test it out. Also, I like the lighting effects upon...

This refrigerator came highly recommended but we have been nothing but disappointed.  The icemaker is must be "programmed" and even then you may or may not get ice.  You may get as much as you want or you may just get a few cubes.  It also shoots the ice out all over the floor even with the glass...

Samsung 23.0 cu. ft. Counter Depth French-Door... Reviews

Only had a few days now but I am already very pleased. It was completely wrapped in plastic which once peeled off reveals the stainless.(Sears crew also wrapped it in a thick rubber blanket during the delivery) Both compartments got to temp very fast. Ice was being produced after just a few hours(yes you can hear the cubes dropping into the bucket, but after is starts filling up it gets quieter) The fridge its self makes almost zero noise, I have not heard anything at while being near it

We had to have a counter depth refrigerator.  We shopped for weeks because they are so hard to find.  This one is perfect.  It is very roomy in both the refrigerator and freezer.  I hate side by side so this it much, much nicer.  The shelves are very easy to adjust to what you have in the fridge.  I love not having to bend over to look in the fridge.  The freezer has a drawer for small stuff and lots of room.  It makes tons of ice fast.  The ice holder is small but I was able to fill-up a water bottle in the morning, fill my glass several times during the day and fill two water bottles...

After almost 2 weeks of owning this fridge, I can say that I'm totally in love with it!!  The materials are sturdy and much higher quality than all other brands that we've looked at (GE, LG, Kenmore, etc), it runs super quiet, it keeps everything at the right temperature, the water and ice dispenser is working superbly, there is a lot of space in both the freezer and refrigerator sections, the lighting is awesome, the dividers and movable shelves are highly customizable and helps fit so many things that we couldn't before ... and contrarily to my husband, I'm not a big stainless fan, probably...

Just bought this FD refrigerator in WHITE and it looks great. The quick chill & quick freeze features are a real bonus. We finally have a stylish fridge that takes up only a few more inches of space than our old (much smaller) unit. Door display is a good nightlight for us but can be turned off.

In our VERY small eat-in kitchen a standard fridge would have been a real problem. LOTS more freezer space that is easy to get to thanks to drawer features. Lighting & adjustable shelves in fridge are useful & good to look at.

Every nook and cranny is used in both fridge & freezer. Check out the tilt tray...

Great refrigerator!

I read others reviews and researched a for about a 6 months before purchasing this unit. The only negative (we've had ours about 1 month now) is the loud icemaker 'drop' (when it releases the cubes into the bin) which is probably due to the more compact insulation that is used to give you more cubic feet of storage for it's size. It's worth the trade off for my family of 5! I only hear the drop when I am in the kitchen or our adjoining great room. We are very happy with the purchase!

After getting over the "sticker shock" I love everything about this Frig. I had my old 26 cu ft. Frig. stuffed with food. Everything fit nicely into this new 23 cu ft. (go figure)

Other reviews complained about the shallow well on the water/ice dispenser, but after learning how to manage the dispenser lever, by not pulling away too fast, we now have no problems with spills at all.

Love the freezer at the bottom and my dogs love that they don't have to get out of the way every time I get something out to the top Frig. Everything we use a lot is at eye level and the french doors don't open out to...

I bought a Samsung because it won the JD Power awards for refrigerators for the past several years. It didn't disappoint. I bought the counter depth model due to kitchen remodel. It does hold much less than my previous fridge, but works beautifully. Even the ice make doesn't pop ice all over the floor. Blue lights are cool. Completely quiet (I have an open kitchen, so lack of noise is important).  Fold up shelves and wine bottle holder are nice touches. I researched my appliances excessively and am happy with this one. If you don't need a counter depth, save $1000 and buy the larger Samsung French...

I have just had it a couple of weeks now, but so far I really like. There are only a couple of little things I would change if I could. First, the water and ice dispenser - It needs to be changed to allow you to set the cup or a small pitcher down. You have to tilt the cup and hold it up close to the dispenser to get water or ice. Second, the ice dumping is pretty loud, my dog barks almost every-time she hears it dump the ice. I like the rest of the fridge. I am still adjusting and trying to figure out the best place to put the tallest items like milk and juice. I would  recommend this to...

We've only had this refrigerator for one week, but we love it so far. We chose the counter depth model with the French door design because our last refrigerator was a counter depth side by side refrigerator/freezer, and our maple surround was built to accomodate the dimensions of that. We would have had to invest in a bit of kitchen remodeling if we had chosen the regular size fridge so it wouldn't look odd sticking out 6" beyond the wood cabinet designed to cover the sides of the fridge. It's unfortunate that a smaller fridge costs quite a bit more than a regular size one, but the counter depth... read full review »

We're very happy with our new refrigerator.  Love the amount of storage for the footprint in the kitchen.  It's amazing how much difference the few extra inches not sticking out into the walk ways makes.

We love this model.  We have owned Whirlpool and Samsung puts them to shame.  It is well laid out and quiet.  It cools well and is easy to set up.  This is expensive, but a quality frig.

So far I love it! I was very sorry to read the very few who didn't like it. But I personally don't think that the ice and water are slow or messy coming out.. The  minute the delivery guy installed it, it started to cool right away.. and the lighting inside is beautiful! It is cold but isn't it suppose to be?!.. lol..My old fridge wasn't cold enough.. until it died after 18 years..Yay!  My only con about it is that my son will leave his prints all over it but i knew that...
