Samsung 29.0 cu. ft. French-Door Refrigerator —
This wonderful refrigerator replaces our 25 cu ft Kenmore Elite French Door that was a year and a half old. A bottom freezer can't be beat for convenience. Easy access to the refrigerator section is important to shorter persons with bad backs and this unit welcomes the challenge..
This refrigerator has easy access to everything! The well lit interior allows viewing into all the drawers to immediately determine location of items. A sliding in/out shelf opens for taller items in the front while reserving the back of that shelf for shorter items. It is very easy keep this refrigerator organized and clean. If I wrap my fresh celery stalk lightly in aluminum foil and place it in the cool select pantry it keeps fresh for AT LEAST A MONTH! I have experienced far less waste in all areas of this fridge because I can see everywhere with ease.
The freezer drawer is very large and spacious and I do believe that if our old chest freezer dies, we can accomodate our needs with this well designed drawer.
Let me say a couple words about the ice/water delivery through the door. Yes, Yes! Cubes come out as cubes and not as crushed ice. Water can be easily delivered into tall glasses or pitchers. How cool is that? My other refrigerator left a lot to be desired in this area although I would not have replaced it for that simple feature.
If you want a premium appliance that is energy efficient and easily maintained, this unit should be definitely considered.
One more thing. I am not an employee of Samsung nor of Sears. I am a 66 y.o. retired woman who is enjoying life in the slow lane. :)
