Samsung 29.0 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator w/ Premium External Water & Ice Dispenser Review

This is a beautiful refrigerator.  It had everything I wanted and 29 cu. ft. in a normal sized footprint.  I really couldn't say anything bad about it...until I got it.  The outer cabinet is made of VERY light duty sheet metal.  I bought the black model.  It's worse than the stainless, but the stainless is still flimsy.  It is VERY easily dented.  With kids, mine would have looked like it had been through a severe hail storm in about 6 months.  If you want to test it yourself, knock on the door like you would knock on someones front door.  Then stand back and admire your knuckles in the finish.  I did this for the salesperson at Sears and he was amazed...and appalled.  He said "After seeing that, I will never reccommend another black Samsung again!".  It is really a nice frige, and I was disappointed that the exterior was so flimsy.  If you live alone, or are a couple with no kids, it MIGHT be OK.  Beware of this one...just try it for yourself before you buy.  Mine is going back.
