Samsung 4.0 cu. ft. High Efficiency Front Load Washer - WF219AN —
I bought this washer dryer combo because of the price in Nov, 2008, due to volume of sales I didn't get it until Jan 2009. Between the time I bought it and got it, my daughter and 3 month old grandson had moved in with us. I never dreamed my new appliances would get the use they have this year. When the deliver men brought it they refused to hook up the washer (long story not product related) so when my husband got home he hooked it up. I had read stories about other front load washers that had a horrible vibration and walked across the floor to the point the customer returned the product. Mine was acting the same way. I knew the no reputable washing machine manufacturer would produce a product that had that kind of personality. We worked for an hour trying to level it and move it to a different spot on the floor, all to no avail. I felt like we had made a huge financial mistake at that point and I sat down and cried. Something told me that I had one last resort before I had them come back out and take it away and that was read the manual. I read the troubleshooting portion and went step by step with my husband to discuss and determine if we had ruled all reasons out for the problem. We finally determined that the delivery men had left the shipping bolts in it. When those were removed it purred like a kitten. They are so quiet I have to look at the machines to tell if they are running or not. It is easy to set for the cycle. Delay start is nice. Automatic dispense is great. My uncle was the appliance salesman and he told us he sells alot of this brand because he tells them we love the product so much. It is a great product. The current Samsung commercial that advertises the quietness of the machines is very accurate. I would love to share the savings impact, but with new houseguests at the same time as the arrival of the products, I have not clue. I'm am almost thinking the savings and the added expense of the houseguests are awash. That's great on both fronts. Great machines, hope you'll enjoy them as much as we do.
